It seems like Orlando Bloom is moving on from his nine-year relationship with Katy Perry, at least for now. The 48-year-old actor was spotted enjoying a boys' night out in London's trendy Chelsea neighborhood, looking every bit the dashing leading man he is.

According to eyewitnesses, Orlando was in high spirits as he made his way out of the Rex Rooms, a swanky new hotspot co-owned by none other than Jason Momoa and designer Marc Jacques Burton. The actor was seen sporting a laid-back look, complete with a white long sleeve sweatshirt, green cargo pants, and a black baseball cap.

But while Orlando is busy living it up in London, his ex-fiancée Katy Perry is embroiled in a very public real estate battle. The 40-year-old pop star is seeking millions of dollars in damages from 85-year-old veteran Carl Westcott over a $15million (£12M) mansion in exclusive Montecito, California.

The drama began when Carl claimed he was under the influence of painkillers when he signed the contract to sell his home to Katy and Orlando. However, the famous couple fought back, insisting that they wanted to keep the 9,000-sq ft estate to raise their daughter Daisy, who turned five on Tuesday (the same day Katy testified in court).

KATY PERRY'S FIGHT FOR JUSTICE... AND MILLIONS

Katy took to the stand via video at LA Superior Court on Tuesday, where she was grilled by Carl's attorney Andrew Thomas. When asked if she stood to gain money or anything else from the outcome of the litigation, Katy replied: "Yes... justice."

The pop star revealed that she has a financial stake in the outcome of the case, and that it could be lost money, lawyers' fees, or lost rental income. When pressed for more information, Katy hinted that Orlando might foot some of the bill.

"It could be a combination of me and him," she said. "We are family for life."

But Carl's family members have come out swinging against Katy, accusing her of being greedy and heartless. Chart Westcott, Carl's 40-year-old son, blasted the pop star on social media, saying: "It's entitled celebrity behavior... She has no sense of fair play, no empathy, zero empathy, quite the opposite."

KATY'S $6 MILLION DAMAGE CLAIM

Katy is seeking $6 million (£4.4M) in damages from Carl, claiming that nearly $2.5million (£1.8M) worth of damage was done to the property and another $3.5million (£2.5M) in lost rent. However, her attorneys later reduced their claim to $1.3million (£900k).

But experts say that Katy's damages claim is absurdly high, given the extent of the damage. "The repairs are estimated at around $1.1 million (£816k), not counting the cost of fixing the roof of a guest cottage/poolhouse damaged by an oak tree," said one insider.

ORLANDO'S INVOLVEMENT IN THE BATTLE

It's no secret that Orlando Bloom has been a key player in Katy Perry's real estate dealings. When asked if he had any financial stake in the outcome of the litigation, Katy replied: "Orlando is my partner and advisor."

However, sources close to the actor have revealed that Orlando shelled out around $5 million (£3.7M) to pay for repairs and renovations to the house. It seems like Orlando may be footing some of the bill for his ex-fiancée's costly lawsuit.

As the drama unfolds, Katy Perry has been using social media to promote her case and raise awareness about her alleged mistreatment at the hands of Carl Westcott. However, critics have accused her of exploiting the situation for publicity.
