Never touched me, though." The brothers' mother, Peggy, was eventually offered a council home and left with her sons in the middle of the night to escape their father's abuse.

Peggy has always been a proud mother, but she has also been known to be fiercely protective of her family's secrets. Noel was absolutely beautiful when he was a baby, and then Liam came along and took the limelight." It seems that Peggy has been trying to keep the peace between her sons for years, even urging them to put aside their differences after their infamous split in 2009.

Peggy Gallagher has always been a strong woman who has stood by her family through thick and thin. In an effort to bring her sons back together, she even went so far as to tell them that ending their feud would be the "best 80th birthday present" for her. It seems that Peggy's words of wisdom have finally sunk in, and the brothers are now set to reunite on stage.

The Reunion Tour

Oasis has announced a string of UK and Ireland tour dates, with the band performing at iconic venues such as Manchester's Heaton Park and London's Wembley Stadium. The tour will also see the brothers perform in Japan, South Korea, and North, Central, and South America, culminating in a massive show at São Paulo's Estádio do Morumbi on November 23.

A source close to the band revealed: "With a new lineup and it being such a huge first show, the boys will do some songs inside the venue too. Some tours would start with a smaller show or take a week or two to get into the groove again - but there is no time for that, and also Liam and Noel want every night to be massive."
