North West Dazzles at Kim Kardashian's NikeSKIMS Launch!
Kim Kardashian Served Face and Fashion in LA, But Her Daughter North West Stole the Show
It's no secret that Kim Kardashian is a fashion icon, but at her Nike SKIMS store launch event in Los Angeles on Friday, she was upstaged by none other than her 12-year-old daughter, North West. The 44-year-old SKIMS founder brought her firstborn to celebrate the brand's collaboration with Nike at its store opening at The Grove, and while Kim looked stunning as always, North proved that she has inherited her mother's flair for making an entrance.
Kim wore a skintight quarter-zip top tucked into royal purple, cropped leggings, which showcased her famous curves. She added inches to her height in flip-flop-style heels and accessorized with oversized, goggle-inspired sunglasses. However, it was North who really turned heads with her bold fashion choices. The young girl rocked a graphic T-shirt with baggy basketball shorts, paired with bright blue pigtail braids that perfectly complemented the electric blue braids Kim wore.
But what really caught our attention was the fact that North's style was a perfect blend of her mother's glamorous looks and her own unique sense of fashion. She showcased her fun, personal style as she coordinated her look to include bug-eye style, shield sunglasses and a statement t-shirt with a pendant necklace. It's clear that North is growing up to be a fashionista just like her mom.
The outing at the opening of the Nike store rebrand comes on the same day as Kim's newest collaborative collection launched on the global sportswear titan's website. The collection marks a major milestone for SKIMS, which has been making waves in the fashion world with its comfortable and stylish activewear. And it seems like North is already getting in on the action, showing off her own sense of style at every turn.
Earlier this week, Kim invited Martha Stewart to party with her family at a Nike SKIMS launch event in New York City. It was a star-studded affair, with Kim's sisters and their mother Kris Jenner all in attendance. But what really caught our attention was Kim's debut performance, where she showcased some of the pieces from her new collection in a fashion show-style performance.
In an interview with TheScholarlyNote.com earlier this week, Kim spoke about working on Nike SKIMS, saying: "To me, it just made sense. Skims is very body-oriented — we do swimwear, loungewear, shapewear — so our next evolution was that we really wanted to do activewear." She added: "Our dream was to work with Nike: Their legacy, innovation, and athlete insights — it was the perfect thing to mix with Skims, and our dedication to the female form."
But what's even more interesting is Kim's exercise secrets. In an exclusive interview with TheScholarlyNote.com, she revealed that she works out every single day, and has a daily regimen that includes weights, stretching, and cardio. She said: "I love to work out — it's my therapy. I work out every single day, and everyone I know works out multiple times a week." And when asked about her favorite exercises, she replied: "I'm a big weightlifter, so I do lots of weights. I've had some back issues, so I've had to re-adjust just some of my workouts, but I have to do lower body in order to stay toned."
But there's one workout that Kim admits she doesn't tend to do: hot yoga. "Honestly, I know I should get into hot yoga, but I did it once and I fell asleep," she confessed. "Just with the mood, and you lay down and close your eyes. I can fall asleep anywhere, so put me in the position to fall asleep, and I will." It seems like Kim is more of a " weights and cardio" kind of girl, but we're sure her fans will be interested to hear about her exercise secrets.
In other news, Kim recently posed topless on the cover of Vogue, and we have to say, she's looking better than ever. But what really caught our attention was her candid interview with TheScholarlyNote.com, where she spoke about everything from her exercise routine to her fashion collaborations.
So there you have it, folks. Kim Kardashian may have been the one who launched Nike SKIMS, but her daughter North West stole the show with her bold fashion choices. And we can't wait to see what's next for this fashion-forward family. Stay tuned for more updates on TheScholarlyNote.com!
