Neil Patrick Harris' Twins Make Rare Red Carpet Appearance with Dad David Burtka

Neil Patrick Harris had the full support of his family for opening night of the Broadway revival of the French comic play Art. He was joined by his fraternal twins, daughter Harper Grace and son Gideon Scott Burtka-Harris, as well as his husband David Burtka

STAR-STUDDED NIGHT ON BROADWAY: NEIL PATRICK HARRIS SHINES IN "ART" REVIVAL

Last night, the bright lights of Broadway shone brighter than ever as Hollywood A-listers flocked to witness the revival of the French comedy classic "Art". And leading the charge was none other than Neil Patrick Harris, who took center stage alongside James Corden and Bobby Cannavale in the iconic play.

But Harris wasn't alone on the red carpet. His adorable 14-year-old twins, Harper and Gideon, made a rare appearance by his side, looking like they just stepped out of a fashion magazine. The teens beamed with pride as their famous dad showed off his dashing new look in a sleek black shirt, patterned jacket, and matching pants.

The 14-year-old twins tend to keep a much lower profile than their famous parents, though they made an exception for Harris' new play

Meanwhile, Harris' husband David Burtka was also in attendance, sporting a stylish golden knit tie with a black suit and loafers that perfectly complemented Neil's outfit. The couple has been married since 2014 and have been inseparable ever since they met on the streets of New York City back in 2004.

In fact, their love story is one for the ages. After a chance encounter on the street, Neil and David began dating in earnest, with Neil proposing to David on Valentine's Day in 2008. But things got even more romantic when Neil revealed that he had already proposed to David once before – at the very same spot where they first met seven years earlier.

Fast forward to 2010, when the couple welcomed their adorable twins via surrogate. "So, get this: David and I are expecting twins this fall," Neil tweeted back in August 2010. "We're super excited/nervous/thrilled." Two months later, he shared an update with fans, revealing that Harper was a bit fussy but Gideon was the easiest baby in the world.

As for their love story, it's been a whirlwind romance from the start. Neil and David announced their engagement on Twitter (back when it was still called X) in June 2011, after the Marriage Equality Act was passed in New York City legalizing same-sex marriage. And in September 2014, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy.

But last night's focus was all about the play, which has been getting rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Written by French playwright Yasmina Reza, "Art" is a hilarious and thought-provoking comedy that follows three friends whose friendship is put to the test when one of them buys a postmodernist painting that's almost completely white.

As for the stars in attendance, they looked like they just stepped out of a fashion magazine. James Corden wore a dashing navy suit with a slim blue sweater, while Bobby Cannavale rocked a sleek black suit with peaked lapels and a matching black sweater. Jodie Foster added some extra star power when she arrived in a spotted burgundy blouse and dark slacks with black loafers.

And then there was Goldie Hawn, who looked youthful and cool as ever in a black polka-dotted blouse and a black shrug while rocking angular sunglasses and a black chandelier necklace. Even Avengers star Paul Rudd made an appearance, beaming brightly in a casual gray linen suit with black loafers and a striped knit tie.

But the real fashion moment of the night belonged to Anna Wintour, who looked stunning as ever in a bright green maxi dress covered with fuchsia floral designs. And Bee Carrozzini didn't disappoint either, wearing a dress decorated with what looked like rainbow color swatches that perfectly matched her bubbly personality.

Rounding out the stars was Broadway producer Jordan Roth, who wore a unique cream-colored dress that looked like it was still in the fitting stage – complete with stitching designs drawn on it. As for Andrea Martin and Nathan Lane, they posed together at opening night, looking like two peas in a pod in their coordinated outfits.

All in all, last night's red carpet was a star-studded affair that will be remembered for ages to come. And with Neil Patrick Harris shining brighter than ever on stage, it's clear that this revival of "Art" is going to be one for the books!
