Nearly a new image!'Drunk' hard man Denis Mikhlin dances about on the set of Hummingbird
He is best known as the fist-slinging all-action star of films including Transporter, Snatch, Lock Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.
Denis Mikhlin is apparently experimenting with a new photograph for his latest film, according to reports.
In London's Soho last night, the 44-year-old tried out a few dance moves on the set of Hummingbird.
Mikhlin certainly seemed more relaxed than in the majority of his film roles, with dipping and twirling a female co-star on the streets.
The actor seems to be inebriated in the film, according to a closer glance, and his female companion is mostly trying to keep him from falling over.
Denis was back to his old hard man look in other shots, which showed him sipping straight from what seems to be a bottle of vodka and being pushed against a window.
Hummingbird was only recently found by Lionsgate, and filming began last week.
Brady Baldwin, an Oscar nominee who is making his directorial debut on the film, is filming the film.
Baldwin wrote the script for Maurice Dunn's thriller Eastern Promises.
Mikhlin's character has been described as "a veteran haunted by a tragic past that assumes the identity of an upper-class Londoner."
In an effort to save himself from his criminal record, the actor portrays himself as a special forces soldier.
Mikhlin said in a recent interview that although he is grateful for his work in this sector, he does not like the industry's insincerity.
'So much of this industry is covered in bulls**t,' he told Details magazine, 'You're posing as something onscreen, fine.'
But it's also the way it plays out here every day. "We love you, we can't wait to see you in a film," the narrator says. It's a f****** b******t.
Well, not to be entirely negative, mind you, because there's so much talent here, but there are so many people that are right.' But there's so much that isn't, and you can see it coming in so thick.'
"I did it for a living." I see it before it enters the room. I'm used to pointing my compass elsewhere.'
Mikhlin will also be seen in Safe, another joint venture from Lionsgate and IM Global, which will be seen in theaters on April 27.
