Naomi Watts Dazzles in Edgy PVC Suit at Paris Fashion Week!
NAOMI WATTS SHOCKS WITH BIZARRE FASHION CHOICE AT VENICE FILM FESTIVAL
Naomi Watts, 57, is known for her stunning red carpet gowns that leave us gasping in awe. But at the Venice Film Festival in August, she opted for a look that left many fans scratching their heads. The Australian actress walked the red carpet with her husband Billy Crudup for the premiere of his latest film, Jay Kelly, wearing a custom Valentino gown designed by Alessandro Michele.
But what caught everyone's attention was the bizarre fashion item adorning the dress - a silk bow that resembled a fanny pack! Yes, you read that right. The usually impeccable Naomi wore a dress with a floral embellishment that looked more like a utility belt than a fashionable accessory. And fans were not impressed!
"OMG, what is that thing?!" exclaimed one fan on Instagram. "It looks like she's wearing a bum bag/fanny pack! Completely unnecessary - to the designers - remove it!" another chimed in.
But despite the initial shock value, most fans agreed that the dress was gorgeous with its plunging sweetheart neckline and embroidered flowers. Naomi accessorized with diamond drop earrings and styled her blonde hair in soft waves as she posed for the cameras.
Meanwhile, Billy looked dapper in a cream tuxedo, paired with a crisp white shirt, black bow tie, and matching tailored trousers. He finished the look with black patent leather brogues as he lovingly escorted Naomi down the red carpet.
The couple's affectionate display on the red carpet was clear for all to see. They happily held hands as they posed for photographers, and even shared a romantic kiss on camera! Who can blame them? After meeting on the set of the Netflix series Gypsy in 2017, the lovebirds went on to tie the knot in New York in 2022.
But that's not all, folks! Naomi is back in the spotlight at Paris Fashion Week, and this time she's opting for a more edgy look. The actress, accompanied by social media star Emma Chamberlain, attended the Courrèges show with a daring black PVC bodysuit and a thigh-skimming suede skirt.
Naomi teamed her stylish outfit with matching stiletto boots, before joining German singer Kim Petras on the front row of the catwalk show. And let's just say, Naomi is killing it in Paris! Who needs red carpet glamour when you can rock edgy chic?
