In a shocking move, Millie Bobby Brown has revealed that she and her husband Jake Bongiovi have welcomed a baby girl into their family through adoption! The 21-year-old actress, who tied the knot with the dashing Jon Bon Jovi's son in May 2024, made the surprise announcement on Instagram on Thursday.
In a heartfelt post, Brown shared the joyous news with her fans, stating: "This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. "My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19," Brown shared with the hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett. "And you know, it's been my thing since before I met Jake." The actress also confessed that she had told her mother about her desire to have babies when she was just a baby herself!
Brown emphasized that adopting a child was something she had always considered an option, saying: "I don't see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting." And it's clear that Bongiovi is on board with her decision, having already expressed his support for their future family plans.
The couple first started dating in 2021 and got engaged in April 2023. But what caught our attention was Brown's statement about wanting a big family - she told Vanity Fair in February that she and Bongiovi had discussed having multiple children and were "pretty united" on major topics, including their desire for a large family.
"We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we're looking for, the kind of careers we want," she shared with the publication. It's clear that Brown and Bongiovi are on the same page when it comes to their future together!
