Miley Cyrus Speaks on Nick Jonas: Are They Still Friends?

Miley Cyrus revealed where she currently stands with her ex-boyfriend, Nick Jonas, over a decade since they dated when they were both teenagers

Miley Cyrus Spills All on Her Teenage Heartbreak with Nick Jonas: The Reunion That Wasn't

In a juicy confession, Miley Cyrus has revealed where she stands with her former beau Nick Jonas nearly two decades after they dated as Disney stars. The 32-year-old pop sensation dished about their tumultuous relationship in an appearance on the Every Single Album podcast.

It's been over 15 years since the "Flowers" singer and the Jonas Brothers heartthrob broke up, but it seems that their memories still linger. Cyrus reminisced about her brief romance with Jonas when they were both teenagers, describing their time together as a whirlwind affair that left her heartbroken.

"We were so young," Cyrus said on the podcast, recalling how she and Jonas dated from 2006 to 2007 before briefly reconnecting in 2009. "We didn't know what we wanted or who we were, but we thought we loved each other."

Cyrus' songs "7 Things" and "Before the Storm" are rumored to be about her relationship with Jonas, sparking rumors that their breakup was far from amicable. However, according to Cyrus, there's no bad blood between them, despite a messy split.

"He's married with children," Cyrus said with a sly smile, referencing Jonas' marriage to Priyanka Chopra and their adorable three-year-old daughter Malti. "We're all moving on. Everything is good in the world."

During a podcast appearance, Cyrus said she still 'likes' him despite their bad breakup, which she went on to describe in detail

When asked if she still had feelings for her ex, Cyrus blushed, saying, "I like Nick... I'm into him." Her words were music to Jonas' ears, no doubt!

Cyrus' gushing about Jonas' family life comes just after she seemingly shaded her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth with a snarky comment. The two tied the knot in 2018 but divorced after just two years.

But back to Nick... Cyrus admitted that their breakup was a result of Jonas prioritizing his music career over their relationship. "He was going on tour with the band, and I wanted him to take me on the tour," she explained. "I didn't understand why he was leaving me."

She also gushed about his marriage to Priyanka Chopra and the couple's three-year-old daughter Malti

The drama doesn't end there! In her 2009 autobiography, Miles To Go, Cyrus referred to Jonas as "Prince Charming" – a far cry from how she felt at the time of their breakup.

"I probably wrote about him more positively than I actually felt," Cyrus said with a chuckle. "But I was heartbroken, and it's easy to look back and say, 'Oh, he's an a**hole'... but in reality, he's just a normal person who made some mistakes."

Cyrus went on to date country singer Justin Gaston and later actor Liam Hemsworth before settling down with her current boyfriend of four years, Maxx Morando.

Meanwhile, Jonas has been busy building his family life with wife Priyanka Chopra. The couple welcomed their daughter via surrogate in 2021, and it's clear that they're loving every moment of parenthood.

The tea is finally spilled! Miley Cyrus has given fans a glimpse into her past relationship with Nick Jonas, and we can't help but wonder what the future holds for these two Disney stars. Will they rekindle their romance or remain just friends? Only time will tell!
