Miley Cyrus Relies on Younger Beau Amid Heckling Fiasco
MILEY CYRUS HECKLED BY HER OWN FANS AT FILM PREMIERE, BUT SHE'S MOVING ON WITH YOUNGER BOYFRIEND MAXX MORANDO
The drama never ends for pop sensation Miley Cyrus! Just days after she was heckled by her own fans at the premiere of her visual album in New York City, the 32-year-old superstar seemed to be putting the incident behind her as she stepped out with her much-younger boyfriend Maxx Morando, 26, in Malibu on Sunday.
The "Flowers" singer looked like a million bucks as she wrapped her arm around her beau's waist while they ran errands together. Miley rocked a chic black crop top and matching trousers, paired with fur-lined Ugg slippers that added a touch of laid-back glamour to her overall look. She finished off the outfit with a pair of black designer shades, earrings, and multiple necklaces.
But what really caught our attention was her decision to go makeup-free! Miley's signature highlighted blonde locks were worn down, showcasing her natural beauty without any embellishments.
As for Maxx, he kept his look simple yet stylish in a white ribbed tank top tucked into black Dickies pants and matching Salomon sneakers. His long hair flowed down his back as he sported a pair of yellow lensed sunglasses and held onto a cup of coffee.
The outing came just two days after the shocking moment when Miley was heckled by outraged fans at the premiere of her visual album in New York City. The Tribeca Film Festival event, which showcased Miley's film "Something Beautiful" that accompanies her recent album release, turned into a debacle when some attendees started interrupting mid-premiere and demanding that she perform a concert.
However, the event was never advertised as such and instead described as 'an exclusive conversation' with Cyrus following the premiere of the movie, per TheScholarlyNote.com. But it seems that not everyone got the memo!
As reported by People, some attendees were heard yelling at Miley, heckling her repeatedly while she was on stage. One disgruntled fan even shouted: "We thought this was a concert" and "We paid $800. Sing!" Can you imagine paying that much money to be let down like that?
Miley reportedly tried to appease the crowd's request by breaking into an impromptu performance of her hit song "The Climb." While some fans appreciated her kindness, others were quick to criticize them for heckling in the first place.
The drama didn't end there. As Miley and Maxx jet-set out of New York City after the premiere, they stopped at JFK airport where Morando was seen handling their bags as they rushed to catch their flight. It's clear that he's got her back!
But what really caught our attention was when Miley made a surprising admission about her past on Friday's episode of The Ringer's Every Single Album podcast. She revealed that before she got sober, she would have to come up with creative excuses for her accountant to cover up her secret purchases.
Miley explained: "The drugs were the biggest cost, which to hide those from my accountant, we called them vintage clothes." Ouch! Who knew that Miley had a whole collection of "vintage clothes" hidden away? It seems like she was living a double life!
She continued: "And so she would get these checks. That happens on touring all the time," and admitted that her accountant would often question her about the mysterious expenses. To cover up for herself, Miley came up with outlandish excuses for her accountant's questions.
"Every time she saw me, she'd be like, 'Where's that, like, $15,000 original John Lennon T-shirt that you bought?' It's like, 'Oh, it's upstairs.'" We're not sure what's more shocking – Miley's secret spending habits or the fact that she was able to convince her accountant with such ridiculous excuses!
It seems like Miley is moving on from the drama and focusing on her new relationship with Maxx. After all, they've been inseparable since they were romantically linked in the summer of 2021. Who knows? Maybe this young couple will be the ones stealing the spotlight next!
