Michelle Pfeiffer's Shocking Claims: Is Bill Gates Aiming to Taint America’s Food?

Michelle Pfeiffer warned her fans about the FDA 's approval of Apeel, a Gates-backed coating meant to extend the shelf life of produce

MICHELLE PFEIFFER ROASTS BILL GATES IN SHOCKING INSTAGRAM ATTACK: 'ORGANIC' PRODUCE IS NO LONGER SAFE!

The usually low-key actress Michelle Pfeiffer has unleashed a bombshell on her Instagram followers, taking aim at billionaire Bill Gates and his alleged plan to contaminate America's food supply. The 67-year-old Scarface star shared a video warning that the FDA's approval of Apeel, a Gates-backed food coating meant to extend the shelf life of produce, is a recipe for disaster.

Pfeiffer's post read: "Apeel (an edible, plant-based coating designed to extend the shelf life of fresh fruits and vegetables) was just approved and now 'organic' produce is coated in something we cannot see or wash off... Very concerning."

The company received early developmental support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 2012 and again in 2015. However, the Gates have currently no involvement in Apeel

The usually reserved actress has been a Hollywood stalwart for decades, but this explosive attack on Gates has left fans stunned. What sparked Pfeiffer's ire? The approval of Apeel by the FDA, which she claims will make "organic" produce no longer safe.

But what exactly is Apeel? Founded in 2012 by entrepreneur James Rogers with a $100,000 grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the company has been mired in controversy over its ingredients and association with the Microsoft mogul. However, Apeel insists that Gates is not currently involved in the company.

In a statement to TheScholarlyNote.com, Jenny Du, co-founder of Apeel and senior vice president of operations, refuted Pfeiffer's claims: "To set the record straight: Bill Gates is not now, nor has he ever been, a shareholder in Apeel Sciences. Additionally, our products have been reviewed and allowed on the market in compliance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. National Organic Program requirements for nearly eight years—not recently, as Ms. Pfeiffer’s post suggests."

Despite Pfeiffer's comments, Apeel claims on its website that their coatings can be washed by rinsing the produce with water and scrubbing it

But that's not all – Apeel has also responded to Pfeiffer's claims by pointing out that their coatings can be washed off simply by rinsing the produce with water and scrubbing it. The company insists that its products are edible and made from plant lipids or oils naturally found in fruits and vegetables.

"Apeel uses plant lipids or plant oils naturally found in fruits and vegetables and creates a coating applied to the surface of fresh fruits and vegetables in order to retain moisture and reduce oxidation," Du told TheScholarlyNote.com. "Our product is also intended to be edible."

But what about the ingredients? Apeel's coatings consist of purified monoglycerides and diglycerides, which are also found in products such as infant formula.

Pfeiffer's comments might come as a shock to her fans, as the actress is known to stay away from controversial topics

So, why has Gates been linked to this controversy? In recent years, the Microsoft mogul has faced heat over his friendship with late pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein. Melinda cited that closeness as part of the reason she divorced her husband.

Gates has since said he deeply regrets making friends with Epstein, who died in jail in 2019, and there has never been any suggestion of wrongdoing on his part.

But what about Pfeiffer's own projects? The actress has been promoting a new project with Elle Fanning – an AppleTV+ series called Margo's Got Money Troubles.

In the show, Pfeiffer and Fanning play a mother-daughter duo struggling to make ends meet. But we can't help but wonder if Pfeiffer's Instagram post was a clever publicity stunt to draw attention to her new project.

With all the drama surrounding Apeel and Gates, one thing is certain – Pfeiffer's explosive attack has left fans talking. And as for Gates? Well, it seems he's used to controversy. After all, the billionaire has faced multiple conspiracy theories in recent years, including the absurd claim that he had secreted 5G microchips inside COVID vaccines.

As the drama unfolds, one question remains: will Pfeiffer's Instagram post have a lasting impact on Apeel and Gates? Only time will tell. But for now, it seems Michelle Pfeiffer has given her fans something to talk about.
