Machine Gun Kelly Gushes Over His Baby Girl Saga, Calls Megan Fox a 'Phenomenal Mom' - But Are They Back Together?

The drama is far from over for Machine Gun Kelly and his ex-fiancée Megan Fox! The 35-year-old rapper has been making headlines with his latest interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, where he gushed about his baby girl Saga Blade's uncanny resemblance to her mom. But what's really going on behind the scenes? Is the former couple still secretly dating or are they co-parenting like pros?

The Bad Things hitmaker - whose real name is Colson Baker - then went on to call the Transformers star a 'phenomenal mom'

MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, welcomed his second child and first with Megan Fox in March 2025, and it seems he's completely smitten with their little bundle of joy. During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, which aired on Friday, the Bad Things hitmaker couldn't help but fawn over his baby girl's doppelganger-like features.

"We go back and forth on who she looks like," MGK confessed to Hudson. "Last month, she looked exactly like me, and now she looks exactly like her." The music artist was beaming with pride as he talked about co-parenting with his ex-fiancée, calling Megan a 'phenomenal mom'.

But what's really got tongues wagging is MGK's admission that the two stars are navigating their co-parenting relationship after splitting in November 2024. While they may have parted ways, it seems they're still working together to raise their little one.

He explained, 'I had it with a person who is the greatest partner, the greatest partner to have had a child with'

"MGK had it with a person who is the greatest partner, the greatest partner to have had a child with," he raved about Megan. "She's truly an amazing mom and an incredible woman."

And as for their baby girl Saga, MGK revealed that they named her after the Norwegian goddess of epic stories. "So, my family is Norwegian, and there's a Norwegian goddess called Saga and it means epic story," he explained. "And so, we named her Saga because to get her on this Earth through highs and lows - it truly was an epic story of love, pain, and a lot of magic."

But what about their relationship status? While MGK has been dropping hints that they're still on good terms, insiders claim the two are not getting back together romantically. "Megan is in heaven with her baby girl and is really focused on being a mom right now," a source close to the actress spilled to Us Weekly.

The music artist is already dad to teen daughter Casie, 16, whom he welcomed with ex Emma Canon; the pair seen in June in Santa Monica

However, it seems MGK is doing his part as a co-parent, spending quality time with Saga when he can. According to insiders, he'll occasionally spend the night at Megan's place to help out with their little one.

But let's get to the juicy stuff! In May, a source revealed that Megan thinks MGK has "stepped up and is being a good dad," but she doesn't think they have a future together romantically. And while they may not be rekindling their romance, it seems they're both committed to co-parenting like pros.

As for MGK's music career, the rapper recently dropped his seventh studio album Lost Americana last month on August 8, which features tracks like Vampire Diaries and Miss Sunshine. And with a highly anticipated tour on the horizon, it looks like he's got bigger things on his mind than his love life.

At the time, MGK jumped to social media to announce that the little one had been born and wrote, 'She's finally here!! our little celestial seed 3/27/25'

The Lost Americana Tour kicks off on November 15 in Orlando, with dates set to conclude on July 1, 2026, in Washington. But one thing's for sure - MGK and Megan Fox will continue to be the talk of the town as they navigate their co-parenting relationship and figure out what's next for them.

In a recent interview with People, MGK got candid about his response to the hate he's received over the years. "The hate for me has become so pop culture that it's almost like that's automatically what you say to fit in," he confessed. "That s* doesn't even mean anything to me. I've let it go completely to where I'm like, 'Oh, that's a joke.'"

But one thing's for sure - MGK's fans are still fiercely loyal, and with his music and tour on the horizon, it seems they'll be sticking by him no matter what.

'I want to detract any congrats to me, and just move it to Megan. Because she really does all the work,' MGK said; the former couple seen in 2021 in L.A.

Stay tuned, folks! The drama between MGK and Megan Fox is far from over.
