Melrose Place alum Laura Leighton announced the arrival of the newest and littlest member of her family, newborn grandson Grayson, on Tuesday

GRANNY GOSSIP ALERT!

Melrose Place alum Laura Leighton is over the moon after welcoming her newest and most adorable addition - a baby grandson named Grayson! The 56-year-old actress, who's still sizzling hot at 60, took to Instagram to share the sweet snap of herself rocking her new "Nana" hat. But that's not all - she also gave us a peek into her life as a grandma and an update on the highly anticipated Melrose Place reboot!

GRANNY GOALS!

The 56-year-old Golden Globe nominee captioned her sweet snap: 'Wearing my Nana hat again, this time for my perfect grandson! Sweet baby Grayson. Sweet smooshiness'

Laura, who's been married to her husband Doug Savant for 27 years, revealed that she's already experienced motherhood once before when her stepdaughter Madeleine welcomed their daughter Josephine in 2023. "I'm a Nana!" Laura gushed at the time, sharing adorable snaps of the little bundle of joy. And it seems like baby Grayson is just as precious!

MELROSE PLACE REBOOT UPDATE!

Laura and her former co-star Daphne Zuniga recently reunited with their Melrose Place pals at 90s Con 2024 in Daytona Beach, FL. And while they couldn't reveal too much about the reboot, they did confirm that it's still in development! "There are a lot of moving parts and pieces involved," Laura explained. "The stars need to align, but we want it as much as the fans want it."

WHAT'S NEXT FOR LAURA?

After playing Ashley Marin on Pretty Little Liars for seven seasons, Laura has been relatively quiet on the acting front. However, she did make a guest appearance on Dynasty and Fantasy Island in 2021. And while there's no word on her next project, we can't help but wonder if she'll be bringing her Melrose Place charm to the small screen once again!

When asked about her experience as a grandma, Laura gushed about how much fun it is. "We've raised four children together and we're pretty proud of that," she shared during an interview on Still Here Hollywood podcast last January. And with three grown-up kids - Jack, Lucy, Adrianna, and Madeleine - Laura's got plenty of grandkids to spoil!

MELROSE PLACE REBOOT DETAILS!

According to Laura, the reboot will catch up with the original characters 30 years later. "There's all these fan stories, all these great conspiracies and those are just wonderfully creative ideas," she shared during her interview at 90s Con. And while we don't know much about the plot just yet, it sounds like it'll be a wild ride!

The Still the Place podcaster famously met her husband of 27 years, Doug Savant (R, pictured November 20), on the set of Darren Star's hit Fox soap opera while portraying the flame-haired vixen Sydney and the openly gay doctor Matt

The 60-year-old Desperate Housewives alum reportedly left Melrose Place in 1998 after six seasons because the network refused to allow the writers to explore his character's love life

On September 14, Leighton reunited with her former castmates Josie Bissett, Daphne Zuniga, Brooke Langton, Grant Show, and Heather Locklear at 90s Con 2024 in Daytona Beach, FL

The Iowa-born beauty and Zuniga gave an update on CBS Studios developing a Melrose Place reboot executive produced by them and starring them as well as Locklear: 'We want it as much as the fans want it'

Laura's character, whose the younger sister of Jane (L, Bissett), appeared in the first five seasons before being hit by a car and 'killed' in 1997 only to be resurrected for The CW's 2009 reboot and murdered yet again
