Meghan Markle's Netflix Show: A Flop or a Strategic Play?

Meghan Markle show with Netflix, With Love, Meghan, was a relative flop, new official figures reveal.

ROYAL FLUB: Meghan's Lifestyle Show With Love, Meghan Tanks on Netflix - And Her Hubby Harry's Documentary Isn't Faring Much Better!

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has had a major flop with her lifestyle show With Love, Meghan on Netflix. The highly-anticipated program, which was supposed to catapult Meghan into media mogul status, has tanked in the ratings.

According to official figures released by Netflix, With Love, Meghan ranked a dismal No. 383 for the first half of 2025, with a paltry 5.3 million viewers worldwide since its March debut. To put it into perspective, the show was outperformed by hundreds of other programs on the platform, including repeats of Suits, which made Meghan a star before she met Prince Harry.

But that's not all - her husband Prince Harry's passion project documentary Polo didn't fare much better, ranking at an abysmal No. 3,436 out of around 7,000 shows with a disastrous 500,000 views globally. To put it into perspective, the most popular show on Netflix this year was the British drama Adolescence, which raked in a whopping 145 million viewers.

The news is a major blow to Meghan's hopes of media domination and her lucrative deal with Netflix, which reportedly paid her and Prince Harry $100 million for their production company. The show's poor performance has also sparked concerns about the quality of content being churned out by the streaming giant.

But don't worry, folks - the Duchess is not giving up just yet! Despite the show's lackluster reception, sources indicate that a second season is already in the works, with Meghan's friend and fellow celebrity Chrissy Teigen set to make an appearance. And if you thought that was enough to salvage the sinking ship, think again - insiders at Netflix are said to be planning a third season, with the streamer's boss Ted Sarandos reportedly being a huge fan of Meghan.

However, not everyone is impressed with the Duchess's foray into television. Christina Pazsitzky, a successful stand-up comedian and Netflix star, took to TikTok to rip apart With Love, Meghan, calling it "highly inauthentic," "fake," and "phony." Ouch!

It seems like the royal couple's media empire is facing some major setbacks - but hey, at least they're still making money off their various business ventures. After all, Meghan's initial product drops sold out within hours, despite critics panning her jam and wine offerings.
