EXCLUSIVE: The Magic is Back! Weasley Family Spotted on Set of New Harry Potter TV Series

The wizarding world has come alive once again, and this time it's in our very own London King's Cross Station! The new TV series, which promises to be more faithful to the beloved novels, has taken over the iconic location, and we've got the scoop on who's playing your favorite characters.

Say hello to Alastair Stout, the 11-year-old who'll be bringing Ron Weasley to life in a whole new way. Ditching Rupert Grint's portrayal from the movies, Alastair rocks a quirky outfit that's sure to make you laugh – plaid over shirt, corduroy bell bottoms, and a thick duffel coat. Talk about dressing for the occasion!

Rivals star Kathrine Parkinson, 47, who replaces Dame Julie Waters as family matriarch Molly, was also seen for the first time in character ahead of shooting iconic Platform 9 and 3/4 scenes

But Ron isn't alone; his siblings Fred (Tristan Harland) and George (Gabriel Harland) are also joining the fun, dressed in their signature 70s-inspired style complete with leather jackets, tank tops, and flares. And Ginny Weasley (Gracie Cochrane)? She's rocking orange dungarees and a colorful crochet cardigan – talk about a fashionista!

But who plays Molly Weasley, the family matriarch? None other than Rivals star Kathrine Parkinson, 47, who replaces Dame Julie Waters in the role. And let us tell you, she's bringing her A-game! Dressed in a suede jacket with shoulder pads and a long skirt, Katharine is the epitome of 1992 chic.

As for Ron's new family members, we've got some exciting news: Dominic McLaughlin will be playing Harry Potter himself. The 11-year-old was selected from over 30,000 actors who auditioned last year, and it's clear why – he looks the part in his blue, green, and yellow rain jacket, wide-leg jeans, rucksack, and iconic glasses.

As well as being joined by his redheaded siblings for the scenes, (L-R) Tristan and Gabriel Harland pictured as Fred and George

And of course, no Harry Potter adventure would be complete without Hagrid! Nick Frost, who towers over Dominic at 5ft 7 inches, is bringing the beloved gamekeeper to life with his signature long curly hair and matching beard. But look closely – he's even got a mask on, complete with two black dots above his mouth!

But what about the drama behind the scenes? Actress Katherine Parkinson has spoken out about her decision not to add her name to the list of stars who have denounced author JK Rowling's views on trans people. In an interview with Radio Times, she said, "I don't want to add to that debate at all, I'm just delighted to be joining the magical world of Harry Potter."

It looks like Katherine is sticking to what she knows best – bringing magic to life on screen! And we can't wait to see more of the Weasley family in action.

The role originally played by Rupert Grint in the movies, will now portrayed by Alastair Stout who cut a quirky figure in his costume on set (pictured with Gracie Cochrane as sisterGinny)

The Reaction from Fans

Fans are going wild for the new TV series, and it's clear why. "The outfit is just so spot on," one fan said. "The too big jeans, baggy shirt, the dirty coat that I swear half the boys at my school had and probably came from C&A. The attention to detail is just so good."

Another fan added, "IKR. They also roughed-up Hagrid. Unlike the first official photo where his beard looks like a perfectly conditioned and curled hair."

Alistair wore a plaid over shirt which was teamed with corduroy bell bottoms along with a thick duffel coat and school bag for scenes

And it seems we're not the only ones who can't get enough of Harry's baggy clothes – one fan exclaimed, "I love that they're showing Harry in baggy clothes. It really fits with how it was always described in the books."

The excitement is building for this new TV series, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for our favorite wizards!
