Magic Behind Bars: Emma Watson and Zoe Wanamaker Banned from Driving!

Emma Watson (pictured in January) was captured by a speed camera on a restricted road in Oxford. The actress was behind the wheel of a £30,000 Audi S3 at the time of the incident

SCANDAL ALERT!

Harry Potter Superstar Emma Watson Banned from Driving for SIX MONTHS After Yet Another Speeding Offense!

The Scholary Note: In a shocking turn of events, Emma Watson, the beloved Hermione Granger from the iconic Harry Potter film series, has been slapped with a six-month driving ban after being caught speeding in her £30,000 Audi S3! This is not her first rodeo, folks - this is Watson's FOURTH driving offense in less than TWO YEARS!

In February last year Emma Watson's Audi was impounded by police after a night out in the Rose and Crown pub in Stratford-upon-Avon

According to sources close to the court, Watson, 35, pleaded guilty to driving at an alarming 38mph in a 30mph zone. Yes, you read that right - she was going nearly TWICE THE SPEED LIMIT! The Scholary Note has obtained exclusive details of her latest mishap, which went down on a restricted road in Oxford, where Watson has been pursuing her doctorate.

But wait, there's more! Watson's co-star from the Harry Potter franchise, Zoë Wanamaker, who played the iconic Quidditch referee Madam Hooch, appeared in the same court just moments later. And guess what? She also got a driving ban - for SIX MONTHS!

Wanamaker, 77, was caught doing a whopping 46mph in a 40mph zone on the M4 motorway near her home in Wiltshire. The Scholary Note has learned that this is Wanamaker's FOURTH driving offense in the past year alone! Talk about a pattern...

Emma will be banned from driving for six months and will also have to pay £1,044 in fines within the next 28 days

But let's get back to Watson. Her latest speeding stunt earned her three points on her license, which, combined with nine previous points from earlier offenses, put her over the limit and landed her with a six-month ban.

The judge handed down the sentence, saying: "Her licence will be endorsed with three points, a Band A fine, which would have been £1,000, reduced to £660 for her guilty plea at the first opportunity. She will pay a £264 surcharge and £120 costs, to be paid in full within 28 days."

Watson's lawyer reportedly had nothing but praise for his client, saying: "She is not seeking any special treatment and accepts that she will be disqualified from driving." Meanwhile, Watson's fans are left wondering what other secrets this superstar has up her sleeve.

Zoe Wanamaker, 76, was also banned from driving - in the same court room today - after being caught speeding on the M4
