Love Unbound: Conjoined Twins Share Insights on Their Unique Marriage

Conjoined twins Carmen and Lupita Andrade aren¿t holding back when it comes to the invasive questions they face ¿ especially since Carmen tied the knot

CONJOINED TWINS SLAM FANS FOR INVASIVE QUESTIONS: "IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!"

In a bold move, conjoined twins Carmen and Lupita Andrade are speaking out against the constant barrage of invasive questions they face from fans and media outlets alike. The 25-year-old social media sensations, who have defied medical expectations by surviving and thriving despite being joined at the torso, are not afraid to set the record straight.

The sisters, born in Mexico and now living in Connecticut, have been under intense scrutiny since Carmen tied the knot with her husband Daniel McCormack in October 2024. But it's not just their private lives that are up for grabs – fans have been clamoring for every last detail about their relationships, finances, and even their sex lives.

Early on, doctors warned that separation surgery would likely be fatal or cause devastating neurological damage, so Carmen and Lupita made the choice to remain together... and that hasn¿t stopped the world from prying, particularly after Carmen married Daniel McCormack in October 2024

In an explosive interview with People on Thursday, Carmen made it clear that she's had enough of the prying eyes and wagging tongues. "I don't understand why people need to know about my private parts in order [to] humanize us," she shot back at the constant curiosity. "It's none of your business!"

Daniel, 28, was just as blunt when he fired back at critics who have accused him of being with Carmen for fame and fortune. "People are obsessed with sex, you know? And it's just like, frankly, it's none of your f------ business!" he declared.

For Lupita, the questions cut a little deeper. As an asexual woman in a romantic relationship, she's faced her own set of challenges when it comes to navigating the public eye. "I don't like being asked if I'm ever going to love Daniel," she explained tearfully. "I love him as a brother. That's about it."

'I don¿t understand why people need to know about my private parts in order [to] humanize us,' she told People

Carmen also jumped into the fray, addressing rumors that she's the one bringing in all the money while Daniel coasting on her fame. "I've got no money!" she laughed, setting the record straight. "We don't want to take advantage of our supporters – we're picky about sponsorships and only partner with brands we genuinely use and trust."

But it's not just their finances that have been under scrutiny. Fans have long speculated about the couple's sex life, with some even suggesting that Daniel is "cheating on Carmen on the side" or planning to leave her in a few years for someone else. Carmen was quick to shut down these rumors, stating that they're simply "supplemental income" from their online presence.

"We still have to work 50 hours a week to make ends meet [and cover] unexpected expenses," she revealed candidly. "We're not living large – we're just trying to live our lives as normally as possible."

Carmen also set the record straight on another rumor ¿ that she¿s the one bringing in all the money while Daniel rides along for the fame

As for the sisters' relationship with Daniel, Lupita set the record straight: "I just want to see my sister happy. I don't think people understand that he would not be around whatsoever if we didn't get along." The couple met on Hinge in 2020 and "eloped" on Lover's Leap Bridge in New Milford, Connecticut – a small ceremony with close family and friends only.

But it's not just their romantic relationships that have been under the microscope. Fans have also fixated on Lupita's asexuality, with some even suggesting that she's "just being dramatic" or "not really an asexual." But the truth is far more nuanced: as someone who has always identified as asexual, Lupita is simply trying to live her life on her own terms.

In their Overdue Update! YouTube video, Carmen revealed that she and Daniel had been married since October 2024 – but made sure to clarify that they didn't get married together. "Before anybody gets it twisted: We got married," Carmen said, pointing to herself and Daniel in the clip. "But we did not get married," she added, then including her conjoined sister.

According to critics, he's 'cheating on me on the side,' planning to walk out in a few years, or 'just kind of here for the bag', said Carmen

As the sisters continue to navigate the complexities of fame and relationships, one thing is clear: they're not going to let anyone else dictate their lives or relationships. "We're not going to apologize for who we are or what we do," Carmen declared confidently. "We're just going to keep being us – and that's all anyone can ask for."
