Livia's Bold Move: Returning Her MBE in Trump Protest!

The Drama Queen of Chiswick: Livia Giuggioli's Latest Stunt

In a move that has left many scratching their heads, Livia Giuggioli, the 56-year-old former wife of Colin Firth, has returned her MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in protest against President Trump's recent state visit to the UK. The decision has sparked a heated debate among fans of the Darcy actor, with some hailing Livia as a hero for standing up for what she believes in, while others are labeling her a self-serving drama queen.

But let's take a closer look at Livia's track record. Married to Colin Firth for 22 years before divorcing him in 2019, Livia has always been known for her high-profile stunts and eco-friendly endeavors. Her boutique, Eco Age, which sold everything from recycled bags to bamboo towels (because who doesn't love bamboo towels?), was a hotbed of controversy back in the day. And when I visited the shop in 2009, I couldn't help but notice that it was eerily empty of customers.

Livia's latest protest is just the latest in a long line of efforts to prove her commitment to saving the planet. But let's be real, folks - Livia has always been more concerned with projecting an image of eco-friendliness than actually doing anything meaningful to reduce her carbon footprint. I mean, who needs to recycle when you can simply purchase a bunch of overpriced, trendy eco-products from your friend Eloise Grey?

But what really gets my goat is Livia's hypocrisy. On the one hand, she's always lecturing about the importance of being responsible with our privilege - and yet, she was more than happy to take advantage of her marriage to Colin Firth for financial gain. And let's not forget that she once told me, in a posh Italian accent no less, "If you are privileged, you have to be responsible." Yeah, sure Livia - just like how we're all responsible for your ex-husband's bank account.

And don't even get me started on her new beau, climate activist Callum Grieve. I mean, the man is probably as green as a shamrock and has no doubt convinced Livia to trade in her designer wardrobe for some far-out vegan ensembles made from repurposed plastic bottles. It's like she's trying to out-eco everyone else.

Livia had an affair while still married to Colin Firth (pictured together in 2010) but he briefly took her back. The eventually divorced after 22 years  of marriage

But what about Colin Firth, you ask? Well, it seems that he's moved on to greener pastures - literally. His new partner, screenwriter Maggie Cohn, is a spry 63 years young and looks like she could give Livia a run for her money in the style department. Who knew that Colin would trade in his wife of 22 years for someone who can keep up with him?

As for Livia's MBE stunt, it's hard not to see it as just another publicity grab. I mean, what's the real impact of returning an award? Is she going to use her influence to actually make a difference or is this just another attempt to get attention and sympathy from her fans?

And let's be clear - Livia Giuggioli is no hero. She's a self-serving drama queen who has made a career out of playing the victim while profiting off her husband's fame. So go ahead, Livia - return your MBE and take a selfie with it for Instagram. Just don't pretend like you're actually making a difference.

A year after playing Mr Darcy (pictured) in BBC's Pride & Prejudice, Colin met Livia on a film set in 1996

In the words of John Lennon, "If someone offers you a rose, look closely at its stem. If you can't find any problems with it, then the rose is not worth having." Well, Livia's rose has some pretty serious thorns - and I'm not just talking about her annoying accent.
