Live TV Meltdown: Jillian Michaels Quits Show Amid Israel Debate

Jillian Michaels sensationally stormed off her podcast Her Take during a fiery debate about Israel and Charlie Kirk this week

Jillian Michaels Abruptly Quits Her Own Podcast After Explosive Debate About Israel and Charlie Kirk

The drama has unfolded on the set of Her Take, a popular political talk show hosted by Jillian Michaels, 51. The fitness mogul and TV personality stormed off the show live on-air after a heated debate with her co-hosts about Israel and Charlie Kirk's memorial.

The explosive conversation took place on Monday's episode, where Michaels was joined by right-wing YouTuber Amy Dangerfield, former DNC fundraiser Lindy Li, and progressive firebrand Ana Kasparian. The discussion started off innocently enough, but quickly turned into a fiery debate about Kirk's ties to Israel.

Michaels became increasingly agitated when an unsubstantiated claim was made that Benjamin Netanyahu had offered Kirk's Turning Point USA organization $150million to take on a more pro-Israel stance. "There's no proof of that! In fact, the opposite is true!" Michaels exclaimed, her voice rising in frustration.

"Where is your proof that $150 million dollars was offered by Bibi Netanyahu?" she snapped at Li. "I didn't want to cover this and you guys insisted, and I told you if you cover this s**t I'm gonna rip you apart. Where is the proof?"

As the conversation continued to heat up, Michaels began to clash with Kasparian, who was adamant that Israel was committing a genocide. The tension between the two women reached a boiling point when Kasparian interrupted her thoughts and Michaels shot back, "I don't know how every show ends up being about how do we bash Israel."

Fed up with the ongoing back-and-forth, Michaels decided to make a dramatic exit, grabbing her laptop and pulling off her mic in one swift motion. "This is not for me. I'm not interested in this," she declared before storming off the set.

But Kasparian wasn't about to let the conversation die down without one final shot. As Michaels walked away, Kasparian shouted out, "Let's be good about precious Israel! The country committing a genocide!"

Michaels' abrupt departure left her co-hosts stunned and shocked. Addressing the walk-out on James Li's Today-ish podcast, Michaels claimed that she had been misled about the segment before going to air.

"I said 'Guys, this has been covered a week ago, this is the first day of Rosh Hashanah, we're gonna look like a**holes doing this literally the day after they buried [Charlie Kirk],' " she explained. Michaels also claimed that her co-hosts insisted on discussing Kirk's ties to Israel despite her protests.

"I said, 'I do not want another show that just bashes Israel. This is not the time,'" Michaels emphasized. She added that while she supports a healthy criticism of Netanyahu and his party, there should be balance in discussing what happened on October 7.

"Where is the balance?" Michaels asked, before accusing Kasparian of going down the rabbit hole on Israel. When asked if she could ever work with her co-hosts again, Michaels bluntly stated that she "won't be participating" in Her Take moving forward.

The podcast, which was launched in May by conservative commentator Patrick Bet-David's Valuetainment Studios, promised to give a voice to women shaping the moment and offer a unique perspective on current events. Bet-David had touted the show as a game-changer in the media landscape.

"This is a show that was missing from today's media landscape," he said in a statement at the time. "This show is about giving a voice to women who are shaping the moment and offering our audience something that feels both real and essential, while aligning with their lives, beliefs, and perspectives."

Michaels had expressed her excitement over the venture during its launch, saying, "I couldn't be more honored to sit at the table with this powerhouse group of women. Her Take isn't just another talk show — it's a sharp, unfiltered, and fiercely intelligent show where real conversations happen. We're not here to echo each other or toe a party line. We're here to challenge, listen, debate, and — when it makes sense — find common ground. It's everything I've wanted to see in the media for years and I'm beyond proud to help bring it to life."

With Michaels' departure from Her Take, fans are left wondering what the future holds for the show. Will Kasparian and Li continue to push their pro-Israel agenda without their outspoken co-host? Only time will tell.

In the meantime, one thing is certain: Jillian Michaels has made a bold statement by walking away from her own podcast. But as she so aptly put it, "I have zero interest in doing this."
