Lindsay Lohan's Family Reunion: Freakier Friday with the Whole Lohan Clan!
LOHAN FAMILY TAKES OVER THE SCHOLARLY NOTE!
It's a freaky Friday indeed, as Lindsay Lohan and her entire family came out in full force to support the new film on Monday night!
The 39-year-old actress was beaming with pride as she walked the red carpet alongside her husband Bader Shammas, mom Dina Lohan, and siblings Ali, Michael Jr., and Dakota. This is a far cry from Lindsay's wild child days when she was just a teenager starring in the original Freaky Friday back in 2003!
Lindsay and her family have undergone a major transformation since then. She's now a devoted mother to her two-year-old son Luai with Bader, whom she's been married to for three years. And let me tell you, Lindsay looked absolutely STUNNING in that fitted white dress with flared tulle skirt and strappy heels! Her porcelain complexion glowed under the lights, thanks to a radiant coat of shimmering blush and a dramatic dusting of eye shadow.
But it wasn't just Lindsay who stole the show. Her mom Dina rocked a lilac floral print dress and her hair styled in loose waves with a side swept bang. Ali wowed in a silky blue dress and messy bun, while Dakota brought the edgy energy with a black tank top, chain necklace, and grey slacks. And Michael Jr.? He looked dapper in his grey suit, posing beside his wife Nina.
But what really got our attention was the Lohan family's complicated history. Lindsay's dad, Michael Lohan, has been married not once, but twice! His first marriage to Dina produced Ali, Dakota, and Michael Jr., while his second marriage to Kate Major yielded sons Landon (12) and Logan (10), as well as daughter Ashley Horn (29) with Kristi Kaufmann. Talk about a tangled web of relationships!
Now, back to the movie magic! Freakier Friday is the long-awaited sequel to the 2003 film that saw Lindsay and Jamie Lee Curtis trade bodies once again. This time around, they're embroiled in quadruple chaos as they swap bodies yet again - 22 years after their first magical switcheroo!
Jamie recently opened up to People about her experience working with Lindsay: "I know I can trust her. I can't say that about a lot of people... We connected, and we really stayed connected. And that is special and rare for me."
Lindsay added: "Safe" is a very important word to me. I have to feel safe around people. And Jamie is one of those people for me."
The supernatural comedy marks Lindsay's first theatrically released leading role in 18 years, following a string of six court-ordered rehab stints and other Hollywood wild child antics.
But don't worry, this time around it's all about the Freaky Friday magic! The original film followed a mother-daughter duo who magically switch bodies after reading a cryptic fortune cookie. This follow-up takes things to the next level with a huge twist involving Gen Z teenage girls that spells chaos for all involved.
And let me tell you, this time around Lindsay's character Anna is preparing to tie the knot with Eric Davies (Manny Jacinto), but things are proving difficult as her teenage daughter Harper (Julia Butters) despises Eric's teen girl Lily (Sophia Hammons). Talk about a tangled web of relationships!
Chad Michael Murray also returns to his role as Lindsay's on-screen boyfriend Jake in the 2003 film. Freakier Friday will hit theaters on August 8, so mark your calendars and get ready for some serious movie magic!
