Lily Collins Dazzles in Venice for Emily In Paris: What’s Next for Rome?
SCANDAL IN THE CITY OF LOVE!
Lily Collins, 36, is back on the scene, looking as chic as ever, as she films scenes for the highly-anticipated fifth season of Emily in Paris on the picturesque streets of Venice, Italy. But what's cooking between her and co-star Lucas Bravo? Insiders claim the chemistry between the two is still sizzling hot!
The actress, who plays the titular character, has traded in her Parisian lifestyle for a taste of la dolce vita in Rome, as Emily In Paris takes a dramatic turn. The series will follow Emily's journey to the Eternal City, where she'll be tasked with setting up an office for Sylvie's company.
But don't get too excited, folks! Creator Darren Star has spilled the beans that it's not all about Rome just yet. "She didn't change her Instagram handle to Emily in Rome," he revealed to Deadline. "She is working in Rome sometimes. Sylvie's company has an office in Rome. Emily's getting that on its feet. I don't necessarily think that it means a permanent — in my mind, it's definitely not a permanent — move to Rome. We're not leaving Paris."
So, what does this mean for our favorite star-crossed lovers, Emily and Gabriel? Lucas spilled some juicy tea: "I think Gabriel realised that he doesn't want to let Emily go so easily, and he might have made a big mistake. They certainly had a big fight and a cooling-off period. But I think he realised that by the end of the season, that there's something that he doesn't want to let Emily go."
But don't hold your breath for a reunion just yet! Lucas added: "I don't know what that means. Doesn't necessarily mean they're going to be together instantly or ever. I don't know, but I think he feels there's unfinished business with the two of them."
Meanwhile, Camille Razat, 31, who plays Emily's pal and love rival, has made a shocking announcement: she's leaving the show after five incredible seasons! The actress took to Instagram to share an emotional goodbye post, thanking her fans and co-stars for their support.
"I've recently wrapped two series: Nero for Netflix and the Lost Station Girls for Disney+," Camille wrote. "I'm also excited to share that I've launched my own production company, @tazar_production. We mainly produce music videos and short films for now, but we're currently developing our first feature film, something I'm truly passionate about and excited to grow."
But what's next for Camille? Fans will be happy to know she'll still be a part of the Emily In Paris world, even if it's just as a recurring guest star. As she left the show on her own terms, fans are flocking to social media to wish her well and share their favorite moments from her time on the series.
We can't help but wonder what's in store for our beloved characters as they navigate love, friendship, and career changes in the City of Love. One thing is certain: Emily In Paris is still sizzling hot, and we can't wait to see what the new season has in store!
