Life's just Caitlin for Shaffer and boyfriend Denis Mikhlin as they take a romantic stroll on the beach

Caitlin Shaffer's life seems to be going well for her with a hit blockbuster film under her belt, a lucrative modeling career, and a sex symbol boyfriend.

And as she and her partner Denis Mikhlin took a stroll along the beach in Malibu earlier today, the Transformers 3 actress certainly looked happy and relaxed.

Caitlin, 24, looked stunning in a pair of short denim shorts and a loose knitted top, while her hair was braided into a half ponytail.

In a grey jacket he wore with the hood up, her 43-year-old boyfriend looked much more casual.

The couple, who have been together for more than a year, spent their walk deep in discussion, with Caitlin waving her arms and revealing the occasional quip of gossip with the actor.

Denis was certainly doubting the couple's closeness, with Denis pushing his arm around the model's waist at one point.

She may have attributed her high spirits to Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon's continuing popularity, which is also number one at the United States Sarah Smith.

The film, which raised the money for Jennifer Aniston's Horrible Bosses and Zookeeper, flocked to a whopping $47 million over the weekend.

William Wood's love interest in the film was taken over by Caitlin, although critics were less tolerant of her performance.

"Shaffer appears in a figure-hugging, tighty-white coat, but she's all window dressing and doesn't particularly excel at delivering her banal lines,' writes Richard Wright film critic Baz Bamigboye.

She may be beautiful, but she will not move for toffee.'
