SCANDAL ROCKS THE OASIS CAMP: LIAM GALLAGHER'S RACIST TWEET EXPOSED JUST DAYS BEFORE TOUR KICKOFF!

The anticipation is palpable as Oasis prepares to take the stage for the first time in 15 years, but the buzz has been replaced with outrage and disgust after Liam Gallagher's latest tweetstorm. The infamous singer, known for his provocative behavior, has sparked a firestorm by using a racial slur, leaving fans of Asian descent feeling hurt, offended, and betrayed.

The offending tweet, which has since been deleted, contained the derogatory phrase "chingchong," a mockery of the Chinese language used to belittle people of East Asian descent. When critics called him out on his mistake, Liam responded with a flippant "Whatever" and a dismissive tone, only to later apologize for any offense caused.

The singer, 52, is only days away from the start of the long-awaited Oasis reunion tour, with him set to take the stage with brother Noel, 58, for the first time in 15 years, on Friday in Cardiff

But the damage was done, and many are left wondering if Liam's apology is genuine or just a desperate attempt to salvage his reputation before the highly-anticipated tour kicks off. The usually outspoken star has remained mum on the matter, leaving fans to speculate about his true intentions.

The Oasis camp has been rocked by the controversy, with many calling for Liam to take responsibility for his actions. Fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment and outrage, demanding that the singer understand the hurt he has caused. "My friend once went to Liam Gallagher's Knebworth gig alone, and got assaulted by racists. It was never just a wrong word," wrote one fan. "Grown-ups should know it's never right to defend racism."

As Oasis prepares to take the stage for their highly-anticipated reunion tour, fans are left wondering if they will be able to set aside their differences and enjoy the show. The iconic Britpop band has enlisted new bandmates for the tour, including drummer Joey Waronker and guitarists Andy Bell, Gem Archer, and Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs.

However, the famously outspoken and controversial star left many of his Asian fans hurt and offended, after tweeting out the derogatory phrase 'chingchong'

The tour dates have been announced, with the brothers set to perform at stadiums across the UK, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, and North, Central, and South America. But will fans be able to put aside their anger and disappointment long enough to enjoy the show? Only time will tell.

Liam appeared to tweet the phrase on Tuesday, responding to critics by claiming: 'it's an ancient thought process get on it', and responding to one fan warning him he'd be cancelled by saying: 'Whatever'

But he seemed to have learned the error of his ways by Wednesday, after deleting the original tweet and taking to X once again to apologise and insist his use of the slur wasn't 'intentional'

However, the damage was done for many, with some less than impressed by his apology and calling his behaviour 'disappointing'
