Get ready for a juicy dose of celebrity gossip, as Lena Dunham opens up about her complicated past, including her tumultuous dating history and marriage issues. The 39-year-old actress, known for her hit HBO series Girls, has been candid about her struggles with trust in her relationship.

In an exclusive essay published in Vogue, ahead of the release of her semi-autobiographical Netflix rom-com Too Much, Lena reflects on her experience with love and relationships. She admits that she's struggled to trust herself, even in her marriage to musician Luis Felber, whom she wed in 2021.

Lena's essay is a raw and honest account of her dating history, including her brief two-week romance with Craig, which fizzled out when she moved to London for work. It was during this time that she met Luis on a blind date set up by friends, and the rest, as they say, is history.

The couple had a whirlwind romance, tying the knot just nine months after their first date in September 2021. But despite her happiness with Luis, Lena can't shake off the feeling of uncertainty when it comes to trust. "You really never know when you're having your last affair," she writes. "Some of us hope that every frog we kiss is our happy ending, while others stand hand in hand with their soulmate, still terrified of the vista narrowing, the buffet running out, closing time."

Lena's past relationships have been well-documented, and her split from musician Jack Antonoff was particularly publicized. The couple dated for five years before calling it quits in 2017. In an essay for Vogue in 2018, Lena spoke candidly about their breakup, describing it as a "blinders-off moment" that revealed they had grown apart.

But that wasn't the only time Lena has been linked to high-profile musicians. She was briefly engaged to an unnamed man who proposed with a lace boot while they were snowed in at her parents' apartment. Yes, you read that right – a Timbaland boot!

Lena's new Netflix series Too Much is a semi-autobiographical rom-com that follows the story of a New Yorker (played by Megan Stalter) who heads to London after a breakup. The show is co-produced by Luis and explores themes of love, relationships, and identity.

In an interview with The Scholarly Note, Lena explained why she chose not to play herself in the series. "Physically, I was just not up for having my body dissected again," she said. "It was a hard choice, but I wanted to protect myself and do what I needed to do to keep making work."

Lena's decision to step aside from playing herself has sparked speculation about her relationship with Luis. Is she using the show as a way to explore her own feelings of uncertainty and mistrust? Or is it simply a creative choice to focus on other characters?

Whatever the reason, Lena's honesty and vulnerability are sure to resonate with audiences. After all, who hasn't struggled with trust in their relationships at some point or another?

Too Much will be released on Netflix on July 10, so mark your calendars for a juicy dose of celebrity gossip and relationship drama.
