LeAnn Rimes' Shocking Stage Mishap: Teeth Drama Unveiled

LeAnn Rimes is opening up about her long history of dental issues that ultimately led to her teeth falling out on stage last month

EXCLUSIVE: LeAnn Rimes Spills All About Her Tooth-Tastic Troubles: From Veneers Gone Wrong to Teeth Falling Out on Stage!

Country music queen LeAnn Rimes has been a household name for decades, but behind her sparkling smile and powerful pipes lies a tale of dental drama that will leave you gasping. In a jaw-droppingly honest interview with The Scholarly Note, the 42-year-old songstress opens up about her long history of oral woes, including a botched veneers procedure that led to years of chronic pain and tooth trouble.

Rimes' journey began when she was just 16 and opted for veneers to perfect her pearly whites. However, things took a turn for the worse when she visited another dentist to have them redone – and he didn't quite get it right. The misaligned veneers resulted in a decade-long struggle with root canals and oral surgeries, leaving Rimes in agony.

The 42-year-old singer has been in the spotlight most of her life, from competing on Star Search as a child and releasing her first independent album at just nine, before becoming a bona fide country music star at just 13

"I look at my pictures from that time, and my face was so different – it was just so swollen," she recalls, her voice filled with pain and frustration. "Oh, it was awful. I was in chronic pain for like two-and-a-half years."

Fast forward to last month's disastrous performance at the Skagit Valley Casino & Resort in Washington, where Rimes' dental bridge popped out mid-song, leaving her scrambling to pop it back into place while still managing to belt out her hits.

In a hilarious Instagram post, Rimes documented the ordeal, admitting that she had to "get real with everybody" and explain what was happening. "I just had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening or else I would have had to walk off stage. And so, for the rest of the show, I was literally like this pushing my teeth in like every couple lines and singing," she shared.

Sometime after getting veneers in the first place, she went to a different dentist to have them redone, except he didn't 'bond them correctly.'

But Rimes' tooth troubles haven't been limited to her recent stage mishap. In 2014, a performance in Oklahoma ended abruptly when her jaw popped out of place, forcing her to skip the encore. "Oklahoma!!!! I love you so much! I'm sorry for no encore. I had my jaw pop out of place & I can't hear out of my left ear," she tweeted at the time.

Despite these setbacks, Rimes remains committed to her craft and her fans. As she told The Scholarly Note, "I love y'all!" – a sentiment that's clear in every note she sings.

With her trademark wit and humor, Rimes is using her platform to raise awareness about the importance of oral health and the impact it can have on one's overall well-being. As she puts it, "It's not just about having pretty teeth – it's about taking care of yourself."

'Oh, it was awful. I was in chronic pain for, like, two-and-a-half years,' Rimes continued.

She stopped the performance and yelled out, 'Hold on!,' as she ran to the side of the stage and popped her bridge back in
