Remini insisted that despite their distance, their friendship is far from over. "Sometimes you don't talk to people every day like you used to, but that doesn't mean the love is lost," she explained. "Friendships ebb and flow. That doesn't mean we're at odds."

But what sparked the rumor of a rift in the first place? Sources close to the couple claimed that Remini's absence from Lopez's 2022 wedding to Ben Affleck was a major blow to their friendship. However, Remini maintains that she simply couldn't attend due to prior commitments.

When asked about her decision not to attend the high-profile nuptials, Remini revealed that it wasn't a deliberate snub but rather a scheduling conflict. "I cherish my friendships and not everybody is meant to be in your life in the way that they were," she said. "We'd text each other loving messages of support, but sometimes life gets busy."

Remini and Lopez's friendship dates back to 2004, and their bond has been tested over the years. The two have been through thick and thin together, including Lopez's high-profile marriage and subsequent divorce from Marc Anthony.

When asked about her current BFFs, Remini raved about Michelle Visage, whom she talks to on FaceTime every morning. "We have our own little text chain," she said. "Holly Robinson, Tisha Campbell, and I are all connected."
