Lady Victoria's Shocking Take on Harry and Meghan's Marriage

Prince Andrew's ex-girlfriend Lady Victoria Hervey has said she's 'amazed' that Prince Harry's marriage to Meghan Markle has lasted as long as seven years

PRINCE HARRY'S MARRIAGE TO MEGHAN MARKLE: THE ROYAL FAMILY'S DREAM COME TRUE OR A FADED FAIRYTALE?

In a shocking revelation, Prince Andrew's ex-girlfriend Lady Victoria Hervey has expressed her amazement that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's marriage has lasted as long as seven years. The socialite, who briefly dated the embattled Duke of York in 1999, made these remarks while speaking to Closer magazine.

According to Lady Victoria, the Sussexes' relationship "seems to have been quite rocky" lately, with their decision to relocate to the US potentially taking a toll on their marriage. She also implied that Meghan's decision to move Harry to California may have contributed to the couple's strained relationship.

The socialite - who briefly dated the embattled Duke of York in 1999 - told Closer magazine that Harry and Meghan's relationship 'seems to have been quite rocky' lately as she suggested the Sussexes's relocation to the US may have adversely impacted the couple

This commentary comes months after Meghan declared her love for Harry during an appearance on Jamie Kern Lima's podcast, stating that they're in "more of a honeymoon period" than ever before. However, Lady Victoria believes that it's only due to their children that their marriage has lasted this long, and that things have been "rocky" between them.

The couple's decision to quit the Royal Family two years after their wedding in 2018 was a bombshell move that sparked widespread media attention. The release of their Netflix docuseries, which contained shocking claims about their time in the UK, only added fuel to the fire. Their departure from the monarchy has been dubbed "Megxit" by fans and critics alike.

As Prince Harry prepares to reunite with his family for the first time in 20 months at Queen Elizabeth's anniversary service on September 8th, Lady Victoria believes that he'll have to prove himself as a "changed man" before being welcomed back into the fold. However, it seems less likely that Meghan will be accepted by the Royal Family, especially after her interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.

Her comments come months after Meghan, 44, declared she and Harry, 40, will be together 'forever' during a podcast appearance as the former Suits star said they're in 'more of a honeymoon period' than ever before

In the explosive conversation, Meghan claimed that there were concerns within the Royal Family about Archie's skin color before his birth. Prince William later commented on the accusation, stating that the Royal Family is "very much not racist." However, experts believe that this incident may have created a lasting rift between Harry and his brother.

Despite the tension between the brothers, Lady Victoria remains hopeful that Prince Harry can repair his relationship with King Charles, who is currently undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. An informal peace summit was held at Buckingham Palace in July, which some experts believe could be a timely move on Prince Harry's part.

However, Lady Victoria warns that even if Harry manages to make amends with his father and brother, he'll have to work "seriously hard" to regain William's trust after making several sensational claims against him in his memoir Spare. One such accusation was that William physically attacked Harry during a row over Meghan.

Lady Victoria also said that Prince Harry will have to prove he's a 'changed man' if he hopes to be welcomed back into the royal family

The Royal Family has declined to comment on any of the claims made by Prince Harry in his book.

Meanwhile, Meghan is still basking in the spotlight with her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, where she shared intimate details about her early dates with Prince Harry. In an episode featuring Queer Eye star Tan France, Meghan revealed that it was indeed Harry who said "I love you" first on their third date.

In another conversation with Jamie Kern Lima's podcast, Meghan spoke candidly about her marriage to Harry, stating that they're more in love than ever before. She even made a subtle dig at the Royal Family during an interview, calling her husband a "fox" because of his good looks and kind heart.

Lady Victoria added that the Duke of Sussex must 'make up' with the King 'as soon as possible' before William completely shuts the possibility of a reunion down
