Kylie Minogue Cancels Shows: 'So, So Sorry' as Illness Strikes Tour

Australian pop icon Kylie Minogue is back on tour, and her devoted fans couldn't be happier! The 56-year-old songstress has been battling laryngitis, forcing her to cancel four major shows on her current Tension World Tour. But don't worry, folks - Kylie's got a voice that can heal the sick (or at least make them forget all about their ailments).

The "Padam Padam" hitmaker took to social media to thank her adoring public for their love and support during her time off. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Kylie expressed her gratitude, saying, "Hi Lovers, I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for all the kindness and support you showed me whilst I was unwell. The energy I felt from you all got through the show last night in Finland."

Taking to her social media on Wednesday, the Padam Padam hitmaker thanked her fans for their support and understanding

But that's not all - Kylie also had some bad news to share with fans who were looking forward to seeing her perform live in Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and Estonia. She announced that the shows would be rescheduled for another date, but don't worry, folks, she's got a plan! "I'm once again really sorry I wasn't able to do the shows last week," Kylie said. "But please keep hold of your tickets - we're doing our very best to reschedule the dates and will update you very soon on that."

And in a major coup, Kylie was thrilled to announce that she would be remounting her cancelled gig in Berlin for July 4! The concert had originally been set for June 12, but due to Kylie's illness, it had to be postponed. Fans are over the moon (or should we say, the Sydney Opera House?) about this news.

But what exactly is laryngitis? Well, let us enlighten you - it's inflammation of the larynx (voice box), often leading to a hoarse voice or loss of voice. And Kylie isn't the only one who's suffered from this pesky condition; many famous singers have been affected by laryngitis over the years.
