Kylie Jenner Visits Greek Restaurant: A Fame Fueled Feud!

Shortly after Kylie Jenner dined at Tassia Restaurant in the Greek village of Fiscardo on July 12, owners Polychronis Dendrinos (L) and Tassia Dendrinou (R) proudly posted about the 'true honor' of hosting the 'iconic entrepreneur and global trendsetter'

SCANDAL ROCKS GREECE: RESTAURANT SHOCKED BY OUTRAGEOUS BACKLASH AFTER BRAGGING ABOUT KYLIE JENNER'S VISIT!

In a shocking turn of events, a quaint Greek restaurant called Tassia has found itself at the center of a social media storm after proudly announcing that reality TV queen Kylie Jenner had dined at their establishment. The owners, Polychronis Dendrinos and Tassia Dendrinou, took to Instagram to gush about the "true honor" of hosting the 27-year-old entrepreneur, describing her as an "inspiring guest" who experienced a "taste of our Greek hospitality and cuisine." But little did they know that their enthusiasm would spark a firestorm of controversy!

As soon as the post went live, the comments section descended into chaos. One outraged user wrote: "Honor? Why different from any other guest?" Another scathing critic chimed in: "Honor LOL... as if she were an important figure for humanity." And things only got more incendiary from there!

The Dendrinos Family gushed on Instagram: 'An inspiring guest, and one of the most influential women of her generation...She experienced a tasted of our Greek hospitality and cuisine. It was a true pleasure to host such a remarkable guest. We hope to welcome her again soon!'

One commenter sarcastically remarked: "Did she find cure for cancer or what?!," while another user ranted: "Honor? For what? For [being] plastic [and lying] about it and [making] young girls insecure about [themselves]? Ohh noooo!" The vitriol was so intense that even some defenders of the restaurant were left stunned, with one commentator writing: "People who are getting mad at this need to touch grass."

But what sparked such an explosive reaction? Well, it all started when Kylie posted a snap of herself and her BFF Anastasia Karanikolaou enjoying a meal by the harbor while patronizing Tassia Restaurant. The picture was captioned: "An inspiring guest, and one of the most influential women of her generation... She experienced a taste of our Greek hospitality and cuisine. It was a true pleasure to host such a remarkable guest. We hope to welcome her again soon!"

As it turns out, Kylie's visit wasn't exactly a surprise. In fact, Tassia Restaurant has hosted a slew of A-list celebrities over the years, including Oscar-nominated actress Demi Moore, honorary Oscar winner Samuel L. Jackson, and even Queen Camilla's son Tom Parker Bowles! But it seems that Kylie's appearance was particularly grating to some, who felt that her fame didn't warrant such fanfare.

The Kardashians producer-star - turning 28 next month - also shared a snap of herself and BFF Anastasia Karanikolaou (L) eating by the harbor while patronizing the 53-year-old eatery located on the Ionian isle of Kefalonia

So, what's behind this sudden backlash? One theory is that people are simply sick of the Kardashian-Jenner clan's endless self-promotion. After all, Kylie has built an empire on social media, and it seems that some folks are tired of seeing her name plastered everywhere. Or maybe it's just a classic case of "jealousy" as one commentator so elegantly put it: "People are just so jealous."

Whatever the reason, Tassia Restaurant is reeling from the aftermath. In an effort to clear the air, the owners took to social media once again, writing: "Thanks! Now I know where NOT to go." But will this backlash have any lasting impact on the restaurant's reputation? Only time will tell.

In related news, Kylie has been making waves in Europe while vacationing with her gal pal Anastasia. The two were spotted sipping cocktails and cruising around a yacht in Kefalonia, Greece – a far cry from the drama that ensued back at Tassia Restaurant!

All of the traditional homecooked dishes at Tassia are reportedly sourced from local producers and most of the vegetables come from their very own garden (pictured August 30)

The owners quickly received intense backlash over publicly thanking Kylie, with Instagram users like @therealelisa99 commenting: 'Honour? Why different from any other guest?'

'Honor?!' Instagram user @mangia_cake777 wrote. 'Did she find cure for cancer or what?!'

'Honour? For what? For [being] plastic [and lying] about it and [making] young girls insecure about [themselves]? Ohh noooo!' Instagram user @moeselik scoffed

'A simple - Thanks for visiting Kylie Jenner would have been enough,' Instagram user @angieduran70 commented. 'An honor why? [Shaking my head]'

Instagram user @dubai_i077 wrote: 'Relax brother for what a honor? I don't understand [unless it's] a president or prime minister or a doctor. [It's] just a girl with big a** and many boyfriends.'

Instagram user @anthu_ck commented: 'Thanks! Now I know where NOT to go'

'Boycott,' Instagram user @easyjourneytips declared

The Jenner post went so viral some rushed to the comments to defend the family-owned restaurant with Instagram user @iamsophielauren writing: 'People who are getting mad at this need to touch grass'

The last celebrity to grace Tassia was retired NBA star Magic Johnson on June 27, whom the owners described as a 'returning guest with legendary energy'

In 2022, Oscar-nominated actress Demi Moore stopped by and they remarked that 'her timeless beauty and solid personality was bright enough to capture our hearts'
