Kylie Jenner Sings Heartbreak Songs: Is Timothée Chalamet Out of Sight?

Kylie Jenner, 27, shared some surprising breakup songs that she was listening to on Friday, in addition to a series of stunning thirst traps

Kylie Jenner's Post-Timothée Chalamet Blues: Singer Posts Breakup Songs on Instagram

The drama is heating up in Kylie Jenner's life, and we have the scoop! The 27-year-old reality star has been MIA with her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet for a whole month, and it seems she's been listening to some pretty telling tunes while he's away. In a series of Instagram Stories posts on Friday, Kylie shared her love for breakup songs - and we can't help but wonder if she's feeling the blues about her beau.

First up was the late Jeff Buckley's hauntingly beautiful song "Lover, You Should've Come Over," which showcases his poetic lyrics and soaring vocals. The 1994 classic is a fan favorite, but it's hard not to read between the lines when you see Kylie posting it just hours after flaunting her toned midriff in a series of sultry selfies. The song's themes of longing and heartache are eerily reminiscent of what we've been seeing from Team KJ lately.

The reality star ¿ who turns 28 on Sunday, August 10 ¿ curiously posted screenshots of the tunes she was listening to after she and her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet (pictured with her in Rome on May 7) haven't been pictured together in around a month

But that wasn't all - Kylie followed up with another classic breakup anthem, Labi Siffre's 1972 single "Crying Laughing Loving Lying." This one's got a more upbeat vibe, but the lyrics are just as poignant. Siffre's folk-inflected melodies and poetic lyrics paint a picture of someone struggling to keep it together after a breakup.

Now, we know what you're thinking: is Kylie really listening to these songs, or was she just posting screenshots for kicks? But nope - she even captioned the second post with "and don't come for me for the volume it's connected to my carplay speakers," just in case anyone thought she was just trolling us.

So, what's going on behind closed doors? Timothée has been busy filming the highly anticipated sequel Dune: Messiah in Prague, and we can only assume that's why they haven't been seen together in a month. But sources close to the couple (okay, maybe not so close) tell us that things are still going strong between them.

First up was the late Jeff Buckley's song Lover, You Should've Come Over, from his iconic 1994 album Grace, the only LP he completed and released before his death by accidental drowning in 1997

But wait - what about Kylie's Instagram activity? She's been following Timothée on the platform since early July, which sparked a frenzy among fans who can't get enough of this celebrity power couple. And let's be real - with 393 million followers and only 119 profiles making the cut, it's clear that Team KJ is a force to be reckoned with.

As for Timothée, he's been a bit more selective about his social media followings. With only 19.7 million followers on Instagram (compared to Kylie's whopping 393 million), and just 147 posts under his belt, it's clear that this Oscar-nominated actor is keeping things private. And let's be real - we're still waiting for him to reciprocate the follow.

Meanwhile, his ex-girlfriend Eiza Gonzalez has been dishing about their breakup in an interview with Cosmopolitan. She gushed over Timothée, saying "They look so cute together... they look so in love and so cute, I'm obsessed with them." Talk about a public endorsement - we're not sure if that's a sign of genuine admiration or just a subtle hint at what went wrong between them.

But enough about the drama - let's get back to Kylie's birthday celebration. The reality star shared a series of sultry selfies in an all-black ensemble, complete with a bra top and tight leggings that left little to the imagination. And we thought she was saving her best angles for her 28th birthday bash? Guess again!

And speaking of birthdays, Kris Jenner's $20 million mansion is looking like the perfect place to throw one. Kylie shared a rare look inside the sprawling pad last week, where she enjoyed a "sleepover" with momager Kris (who else?). The highlight reel included vodka cocktails on the patio and an al fresco dinner on expensive china - and we're not sure what's more enviable: the mansion itself or the fact that Kylie can just pop over for a visit whenever she wants.

We'll be keeping a close eye on this drama-filled situation, folks. Who knows what's in store for Team KJ next?

Earlier on Friday, Kylie put on a show in a skimpy all-black ensemble with a series of pre-birthday thirst traps as she got ready to celebrate her birthday

She wore a black bra top that highlighted her prominent cleavage, flat tummy and trim waist

The reality star matched her top with a pair of black of tight black leggings that hugged her hips, and she wore her raven hair in lustrous waves that rested over her shoulders and framed her impeccably made-up face

Kylie, who boasted particularly plump lips in the photoset, showed off a sultry expression as she gazed into the camera while holding a large glass of red wine

She seemed to be ready for her birthday, as she captioned the photos, 'last friday as a 27 year old'

Her friend Hailey Bieber jumped into the comments to suggest she wouldn't be missing much, writing, '28 is better I promise'

It has been a month since the Kylie was last photographed with her Hollywood actor boyfriend Timothée on a yacht vacation in St. Tropez in the South of France; seen in Indianapolis, Indiana, on May 31

However, she may just be missing the actor because he has been away for work. Chalamet is currently filming the sequel Dune: Messiah in Prague; seen May 31 in Indianapolis

Fans were surprised when Kylie followed Timothée on Instagram in July. He didn't follow her back, but that may not be surprising, as he follows no accounts on the social media site; pictured May 12 in NYC
