Kristin Cavallari's Custody Shift: What Changed with Jay Cutler?

When Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler separated in 2020 after seven years of marriage, they initially agreed to split every other week with their three children (pictured in 2019)

SCANDALOUS SEPARATION! Kristin Cavallari Reveals Shocking Custody Battle Details with Ex-Husband Jay Cutler

Get ready for a juicy dose of celebrity drama! Reality TV star and fashion mogul Kristin Cavallari is spilling the tea on her tumultuous co-parenting arrangement with ex-husband Jay Cutler, and it's a doozy.

In a bombshell revelation on her podcast Let's Be Honest, Cavallari, 38, confirmed that she has retained primary physical custody of their three kids - son Camden, 12; son Jaxon, 11; and daughter Saylor, 9. And the reason behind this sudden change? Well, let's just say it has everything to do with Jay's recent run-ins with the law.

The 38-year-old reality star first hinted their custody arrangement changed last October, and she just confirmed she's retained primary physical custody of their son Camden, 12; son Jaxon, 11; and daughter Saylor, 9 (pictured May 11)

Last October, Cutler, 42, was arrested for DUI and gun possession after a reckless driving incident left another driver shaken. And if that weren't enough, sources claim he offered the other driver $2,000 to keep quiet about the whole ordeal - talk about trying to buy your way out of trouble!

But what's even more shocking is Kristin's admission that she initially agreed to share custody with Jay on a "week-by-week" basis. However, things took a dramatic turn when her ex-husband's reckless behavior behind the wheel put everyone at risk.

As if that weren't enough, Cavallari also opened up about Cutler's alleged lack of consistency in co-parenting. In an earlier interview with Us Weekly, Jay claimed that their kids were actually the ones keeping them on track: "The kids kind of do it. We've got our schedule and it works for us." But Kristin paints a different picture.

Kristin confessed on her Let's Be Honest podcast Tuesday: 'I did have my kids full-time for a while, and now I have them except for every other weekend. I'm not gonna get into the reasoning or the legality of it'

"I ended up marrying my dad," she lamented on her podcast Dumb Blonde last December. "Zero f*ing consistency, which is really hard. It has not been easy to say the least."

But don't worry, Kristin fans - the Uncommon James founder is doing just fine without Jay. In fact, she's already found love again with retired NHL player Nate Thompson in a steamy long-distance "deep fling." And if that weren't enough, she's also planning to move to a secluded beachside paradise in Mexico and open up her own coffee shop.

"I don't want to make money on it. I just want to have community and good coffee," Kristin gushed on Harry Jowsey's podcast Boyfriend Material.

Cavallari's specific use of the word 'legality' might be related to the 42-year-old retired NFL quarterback's October 17th arrest for DUI and gun possession

And what about her reality TV show Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour? Don't worry, fans - the finale is just around the corner, airing this Wednesday night on E! - and trust us when we say it's going to be a wild ride.

Kristin lamented on the Dumb Blonde podcast: 'Zero f***ing consistency, which is really hard. It has not been easy to say the least'

Also on Tuesday, Cavallari reunited with Harry Jowsey (L) on his podcast Boyfriend Material where she revealed her future plans to move to a 'rustic, undiscovered place' on a beach in Mexico 'and open up a little coffee shop'

The Denver-born beauty said: 'I'm gonna do my podcast for probably another year, maybe two, potentially do one more podcast tour, one more season of the show [Honestly Cavallari]'
