Kim Kardashian's Haunting Fashion: From Elizabeth Taylor to Jackie Kennedy!

Kim Kardashian continued to channel old Hollywood glamour as she donned a late A-lister's earrings after being accused of having an 'obsession with the dead.'

Kim Kardashian's Obsession with the Dead: From Elizabeth Taylor to Marilyn Monroe, She'll Stop at Nothing!

In a bizarre display of celebrity worship, Kim Kardashian has once again donned jewelry previously worn by the dearly departed. This time, she borrowed a pair of chandelier earrings from the late Elizabeth Taylor, on loan from Schwartz.

The Skims mogul, 44, has made it no secret that she's obsessed with acquiring items once owned by A-listers who have since passed away. In fact, her fascination with the dead is so intense that she's spent tens of thousands of dollars on clothes and jewelry previously worn by some of Hollywood's biggest stars.

On Wednesday, Kim was at it again as she donned jewllerey from the late Elizabeth Taylor (pictured) , on loan from Schwartz

Kim's latest acquisition, the Mike Todd Diamond Pendant Earrings, were purchased at an auction for a whopping $374,500 (approximately £270k). She wore the dazzling pair to Balenciaga's fall 2025 couture show in Paris, pairing them with a beige body-hugging slip dress inspired by Elizabeth Taylor's iconic looks.

But Kim's obsession with the dead didn't start with Elizabeth Taylor. Oh no, she's been on this wild ride for years! In 2019, she and her then-husband Kanye West gifted their daughter North a jacket worn by Michael Jackson, which they won at auction for $65,625. The jacket was worn by the King of Pop himself to Elizabeth Taylor's 65th birthday party in 1997.

And that's not all! Kim has also got her hands on the original white fedora worn by Michael in his iconic music video for "Smooth Criminal." She even let North wear it and shared a snap on Instagram, writing: "North also got Michael's Smooth Criminal Hat. It still has his makeup on it!"

In 2022, Kim came under fire after donning Marilyn Monroe's $4.8million 'Happy Birthday Mr President' dress to the Met Gala

But wait, there's more! Kim has outbid collectors at auctions of clothing and jewelry worn by Elizabeth Taylor and Elvis Presley. She bought a set of Elizabeth's bangles for $64,900 and even got her brother Rob some of Elvis's rings as a Christmas present.

And if that wasn't enough, she paid $379,500 for Jackie Kennedy's watch in 2017. Yes, you read that right - Kim Kardashian has spent almost $400,000 on a watch once owned by the former First Lady!

But perhaps her most infamous acquisition is Marilyn Monroe's "Happy Birthday Mr President" dress, which she wore to the Met Gala in 2022. The dress was sold at auction for a record-breaking $5 million and had been stored in a temperature-controlled environment since its purchase in 2016.

Taylor wore a similar outfit in her film with Paul Newman titled Cat On A Hot Tin Roof in 1958

Kim's decision to wear the dress sparked outrage among fans, who accused her of damaging the vintage garment. In an episode of "The Kardashians," Kim revealed that she'd begged the Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum to allow her to wear the dress and even changed into a replica after the red carpet.

It seems that Kim's obsession with the dead is only growing stronger. Will she stop at nothing to get her hands on more celebrity memorabilia? Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure - this reality star will do whatever it takes to stay in the spotlight!
