During his acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actor, the actor jokingly told the crowd, "Turns out she said that because she didn't think I was gonna win. She goes, 'Oh God, I did say that. I guess I owe you a third kid.'" The audience erupted in laughter as Culkin quipped, "And I turned to her and said, 'Really, I want four.'"
The star then playfully reminded his wife of her promise, saying, "I just have this to say to you Jazz, love of my life, ye of little faith. No pressure, I love you, I'm really sorry I did this again and let's get cracking on those kids. What do you say?" So, what led to this baby news? According to sources, Culkin and Charton first met at a bar in New York City in 2012, where he was immediately smitten with her English accent. "I said, 'I'm Kieran. You have an English accent. What's your name?' She said, 'Jazz.' I said, 'J-A-Z-Z, like the music?' And she said, 'Yeah.' And I said, 'Well, that's f*ing stupid,'" he recalled in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
The couple tied the knot in Iowa during a road trip together in 2013 and welcomed their first child, daughter Kinsey, in September 2019. Two years later, they welcomed their son Wilder into the world.
In a recent appearance on Variety's Actors On Actors series, Culkin opened up about fatherhood, saying that he loves everything except dinner time! "It feels like nothing else matters," he said. "I'm a dad now, and my only role in life is that. That's real life. All this [pointing to his Hollywood success] is lovely, but I'm just trying to get home."
