Khloe Kardashian, 41, is making headlines once again for her stunning physique, but it's not just her killer bod that's got everyone talking. The reality TV siren has been quietly taking on a new role as caretaker to Tristan Thompson's younger brother Amari, an 18-year-old with severe disabilities.
As she flashed her toned physique in a recent Fabletics photoshoot, Khloe gushed about her new activewear collection on Instagram, captioning the pics "Lavender Dreams." But behind closed doors, she's been navigating a very different kind of challenge. After Tristan and Khloe split for good (yes, again!), she took it upon herself to become Amari's primary caretaker.
So why did Khloe choose to take on this massive responsibility? According to her own words, it all goes back to her close friendship with Amari's late mom, Andrea Thompson. "We became such good friends," Khloe reminisced on her podcast, Khloe in Wonder Land. "Andrea would have questions about Amari's medical care, and I'd help connect her with the right doctors... We were a team."
But when Andrea tragically passed away due to a sudden heart attack, Khloe knew she had to step up for Amari. And so, the Good America founder made the bold decision to take on caring for him full-time.
"I love seeing how Amari lights up when he's around my kids," she gushes. "It teaches them compassion and understanding – that everyone has a story and deserves kindness." Despite Tristan's pro basketball lifestyle being incompatible with Amari's needs, Khloe has taken it upon herself to provide the young man with a stable home life in Los Angeles.
As we all know, Khloe hasn't exactly had a smooth sailing love life. From Lamar Odom's numerous infidelities to Tristan's very public cheating scandals (including fathering a child with another woman while still dating her!), it's safe to say she's earned some major karma points by putting Amari's needs above her own.
But what we didn't know was just how hands-on Khloe has been in caring for Amari. With two "sensational caretakers" by her side, she's made sure the young man gets all the love and attention he deserves. "Amari means everything to me," she insists. "I've spent so many years with this family – I have a deep connection with them... My commitment to Amari has nothing to do with Tristan."
As for how Khloe balances her caretaking duties with her own career, it's clear that motherhood and entrepreneurship are no match for her dedication. After all, we know the Good America mogul is always looking for ways to inspire and uplift her fans – but this latest move takes the cake.
