Kesha Rallies Behind Cassie After Diddy Verdict: A Beacon of Support for Survivors

Kesha publicly voiced her support for Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura on Wednesday following the shocking split verdict at her ex-boyfriend Sean 'Diddy' Combs seven-week federal criminal trial (pictured February 6)

SEAN "DIDDY" COMBS' SHOCKING DOWNFALL: KE$HA SPEAKS OUT IN SUPPORT OF CASANDRA "CASSIE" VENTURA

The drama is real, and it's getting juicier by the minute! After a seven-week federal trial that had everyone on the edge of their seats, Sean "Diddy" Combs was found guilty on two counts of the Mann Act - transportation for the purposes of prostitution. But what's even more shocking is that his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, testified against him and submitted a letter to the judge requesting he be held in jail until sentencing.

And guess who's speaking out in support of Cassie? None other than pop star KE$HA! The 38-year-old singer took to social media to voice her solidarity with her fellow survivor, tweeting: "Cassie, I believe you. Your strength is a beacon for every survivor." Kesha, who has been open about her own struggles with abuse and harassment in the music industry, clearly has empathy for Cassie's ordeal.

'Cassie, I believe you,' the 38-year-old pop star - who boasts 43.1M social media followers - tweeted. 'I love you. Your strength is a beacon for every survivor'

But let's go back to Diddy's downfall... The 55-year-old rap mogul was facing life in prison after being accused of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. But it seems like his team must have been worried about the verdict, because they released a statement claiming he had been "fully exonerated" just hours before the guilty verdict was announced.

But we all know the truth now: Diddy's got some 'splainin' to do! The jury found him guilty of two counts of transporting women for prostitution, specifically flying them around the country for his infamous "freak off" parties. And it seems like Cassie wasn't the only one he hurt - prosecutors revealed that there were at least 25 other victims who came forward with similar allegations.

Diddy's got a long road ahead of him, and it's not just because of the sentencing. He's still facing over 100 civil lawsuits from accusers, including some pretty big names in the music industry. And let's be real, his reputation is already in tatters.

It's been two years since Kesha settled her nine-year legal battle against her former producer Dr. Luke (L, pictured in 2011) - whom she accused of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse as well as workplace discrimination (all of which he denied)

But what about Cassie? The 38-year-old mom-of-three was only 19 when Diddy signed her to a record deal under his Bad Boy Records label. Can you imagine being that young and vulnerable in the music industry? It's no wonder she ended up filing a lawsuit against him, alleging rape, abuse, and sex trafficking.

And just last year, CNN leaked a video of Diddy violently assaulting Cassie at an LA hotel back in 2016. Talk about a red flag! But Cassie's not one to take things lying down - she married her personal trainer-turned-husband Alex Fine in 2018, and they've been going strong ever since.

Meanwhile, Kesha is celebrating her own success with the release of her sixth studio album Period on Friday. The album marks the first from her very own label, Kesha Records, which she gained back control over after a nine-year battle with her former producer Dr. Luke (more on that drama later).

The disgraced 55-year-old rap mogul (L, illustrated Wednesday) was facing life in prison before a jury of eight men and four women found him not guilty of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges

But what's even more exciting is that Kesha will be hitting the road next month with her joint tour with Scissor Sisters! The two will bring their 26-date T**s Out Tour to the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA this Thursday.

So, folks, it looks like justice has been served - but we're still waiting for Diddy's sentencing. Stay tuned!
