Kennedy Dynasty Clashes with Hollywood: Jackie O's Relative Speaks Out Against Ryan Murphy

Former Real Housewives Of New York City star Carole Radziwill, 61, slammed Ryan Murphy, 59, for saying what she called an 'awful thing' to Kennedy heir Jack Schlossberg, 32, amid ongoing tension between the two; pictured in NYC in April

Kennedy Heir Jack Schlossberg Slams Ryan Murphy for "Awful Thing" Comments - Carole Radziwill Weighs In!

The drama continues to unfold in the world of Kennedy clan and Hollywood royalty! Last week, TV mogul Ryan Murphy sparked outrage by making some rather...unseemly comments about JFK Jr.'s grandson, Jack Schlossberg. And now, former Real Housewives Of New York City star Carole Radziwill is joining the fray!

For those who may not be in the know, let's recap: Schlossberg, 32, is the grandchild of John F. Kennedy - yes, that JFK! - and cousin to the late John F. Kennedy Jr. (remember him? The dashing pilot who perished in a tragic plane crash alongside his wife Carolyn Bessette in 1999?). Radziwill, 61, has ties to the Kennedy family through her marriage to Anthony Radziwill, JFK Jr.'s cousin.

So, what's got everyone so riled up? Well, Murphy - the mastermind behind Glee and American Horror Story - had the audacity to say that Schlossberg slamming him over a forthcoming miniseries was an "odd choice." Apparently, Murphy felt that JFK Jr. was a relative Schlossberg barely remembered, since he was only six when the tragic crash occurred.

Big mistake, Ryan!

Radziwill took to her Instagram account (we're talking Threads, folks!) to express her outrage: "I knew John well. What an awful thing to say to Jack." She went on to scold Murphy's company, saying that his comments were "unkind & hurtful" - and who can blame her? I mean, come on, Ryan! You're basically trashing a family member (Jack Schlossberg) in front of millions!

Radziwill tagged Murphy's company into a Threads post in which she said, 'I knew John, well. What an awful thing to say to Jack

Schlossberg himself responded with a fiery post on Instagram: "SAY IT TO MY FACE!" And boy, did he get personal! He dished about the good old days, sharing memories of JFK Jr. picking him up from school in his Pontiac convertible and making him the ring bearer at his wedding.

But here's the thing: Schlossberg wasn't just having a stroll down memory lane - oh no! He called Murphy out for exploiting JFK Jr.'s legacy for profit. "You're making millions off John, making a public spectacle of it but won't contribute any of your riches to the causes he championed, or the legacy of public service he represented," Schlossberg lashed out.

And then things got really juicy! Schlossberg took aim at Murphy's portrayal of JFK Jr. in the upcoming miniseries - and let's just say it wasn't exactly a glowing review. "Also odd that the actor playing the sexiest man alive is bloated!" Ouch!

Schlossberg responded to the remarks via his Instagram page last week, making clear he had a wealth of memories of JFK Jr.

So, what's going on here? Well, Schlossberg has been making it clear that his family was not consulted about the miniseries and is not involved in any way. And now, Radziwill is weighing in - because when it comes to the Kennedys, you can bet your bottom dollar that everyone will have an opinion!

The cast of Murphy's miniseries includes Naomi Watts as Jackie Kennedy; Sarah Pidgeon as Carolyn Bessette; Grace Gummer as Caroline Kennedy; Sydney Lemmon as Lauren Bessette; and Alessandro Nivola as Calvin Klein. Stay tuned, folks! This is going to be a wild ride!
