Kendall Jenner's Vogue Ad Performance Sparks Charisma Debate: 'Stick' vs. Star Power

Kendall Jenner is set to appear in a short film for Vogue World in October, with a snippet released to social media showing the supermodel dancing in the rain with model and actor Matthew Noszk

Kendall Jenner's Acting Debut Sparks Outrage: Fans Slam Her "Awful" Performance

In a move that has left many fans scratching their heads, supermodel Kendall Jenner is set to make her acting debut in a short film for Vogue World in October. The 29-year-old model, who has built a successful career on the runway, will star alongside Matthew Noszk, 32, in the sensual clip titled "Love, Interrupted."

The teaser video, released on social media, shows Kendall and Matthew dancing in the rain, gazing lovingly into each other's eyes. But while some fans are excited to see the model try her hand at acting, many others are left underwhelmed by her performance.

'Is Mama Kris trying to get her an acting career since she's nowhere to be found on the runway??' one Reddit user snarked, alongside the video. Pictured: Kendall for Jimmy Choo in 2022

As soon as the clip dropped, the comments section on social media was flooded with scathing reviews of Kendall's acting skills. "Is Mama Kris trying to get her an acting career since she's nowhere to be found on the runway??" one Reddit user snarked. "There's no thought behind those eyes," they continued. "Director said 'act like you're in love' and she just heard 'stick.'"

The video, which shows Kendall dancing with Matthew in a silk sky-blue dress and white pointed heels, has left many fans feeling disappointed. "He's doing great and she's just... there," one user commented on the video. "I do not understand how she gets opportunities like these when she is truly awful."

Another fan wrote: "Even with a hot guy like this, she can't fake love/attraction?!!! Girl!!!" One user mocked Kendall's lack of chemistry with Matthew, writing: "He looks into it and she's looking at a wall." Someone else added: "Zero chemistry lmao."

But what really has fans talking is the fact that Kendall seems to be pursuing multiple creative endeavors at once. In an interview with Vogue earlier this month, the model revealed that she wants to design houses for a living. "I swear to God, I'm going to stop everything and just design homes," Kendall said. "I'm not kidding." She even admitted that her mom, Kris Jenner, is one of the only people she would let decorate her home.

Meanwhile, Vogue World is a live fashion event that combines high fashion, arts, and culture to celebrate the host city and raise money for local causes. This year's event promises to be a celebration of the "rich conversation between film and fashion," with Kendall and Matthew taking center stage.

But while some fans are excited to see the model try her hand at acting, others are calling out Vogue World for giving Kendall an opportunity over more talented actors. "Why are we forcing yardsticks to be actors when we have so many real actors who would give anything to do this?" one user wrote.

In response to the backlash, a spokesperson for The Scholarly Note (formerly known as Dailymail.com) said: "We stand by our decision to feature Kendall in our Vogue World event. We believe she has a lot to offer and we're excited to see her explore new creative avenues."

The short film, titled "Love, Interrupted," is set to premiere at Vogue World on October 26, 2025. With the drama surrounding Kendall's acting debut already heating up, it's safe to say that this is one event not to be missed.
