Keanu Reeves Escapes 'Divine Wife' Fan Chase After Broadway Show!
KEANU REEVES CHASED BY OBSESSED FAN CLAIMING TO BE HIS "DIVINE WIFE"!
The drama surrounding Keanu Reeves just got a whole lot juicier! The 61-year-old Hollywood hunk was recently spotted leaving his Broadway show, Waiting For Godot, at the Hudson Theater when an unhinged fan decided to take things to a whole new level.
According to eyewitnesses and shocking footage obtained by thescholarlynote.com, Keanu's obsessive "divine wife" - yes, you read that right! - tried to break into his black chauffeured car, screaming at him to acknowledge their supposed marital status. The fan, who was dragged away by bodyguards, fell to the ground, landing on her backside with a thud.
But what's even more interesting is that this isn't the first time Keanu has been targeted by an overzealous admirer. As we previously reported, rumors have been circulating about his secret wedding to Alexandra (who he met at a dinner party in 2009) - but it turns out those whispers were just a bunch of "fake news"!
To set the record straight, Keanu recently took to social media to share a PDA snap with Alexandra, captioning it: "This is a real photo. Not an engagement photo or an AI wedding announcement... simply a kiss! I'm sharing it here to say thank you to everyone for the congratulations on our wedding. Except we didn't get married."
But let's get back to the drama at hand. As Keanu was leaving the theater, he was met with adoring fans, including one who filmed the entire ordeal. The clip shows Keanu shyly waving to his fans before being surrounded by bodyguards.
However, things took a dark turn when an unknown woman ran forward, shouting at the car: "Keanu, it's your divine wife!" "Keanu! Keanu!" she screamed, as if trying to summon him from another realm. The two men who grabbed onto her and pulled her away by force must have had their work cut out for them!
When asked about the incident, a bystander was heard saying: "You guys need a restraining order on this one... Why you bugging out?" Talk about a harsh reality check for the obsessed fan!
But here's the kicker - Keanu wasn't exactly winning over critics with his Broadway debut. The New York Post's Johnny Oleksinski panned his performance, calling him "stiff" and claiming he struggled through the show as Estragon.
However, not everyone was as harsh on Keanu's acting skills. Adrian Horton from the Guardian gave the production three stars and praised Keanu's chemistry with his Bill & Ted co-star Alex Winter: "Luckily, there's Bill & Ted to save the day... their comedic chemistry still unmatched and irreproducible."
Guess you could say that's a mixed bag of reviews for Keanu - but hey, at least he's got our attention now! What do you think about the recent drama surrounding this Hollywood heartthrob? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below!
