Katy Perry Breaks Rules: Urges Teacher for Exam Forgiveness on Stage!

Katy Perry shared a sweet moment with a young fan at her Sydney show on Wednesday night. During the set, Perry invited a young fan called Tiana on stage, with the little girl admitting she was missing out on studying for an exam to attend the show

The Queen of Pop has descended upon Sydney, and she's leaving a trail of adoring fans in her wake! Katy Perry kicked off her highly-anticipated Australian tour with a bang, treating the lucky crowd at Qudos Bank Arena to a night they'll never forget.

But it was during one particularly sweet moment that Katy truly stole our hearts. A young fan named Tiana, who had skipped studying for an exam to attend the show (because priorities!), was plucked from the audience and taken backstage by Katy herself. And what happened next? The pop star promptly grabbed Tiana's phone and recorded a hilarious video message for her teacher, begging for mercy!

Katy grabbed the fan's phone and quickly recorded a message for her teacher, pleading for mercy. 'I know she's about to take this exam for English and we just wanna say that we might be a little bit tired because we were on the stage last night' Katy said

"Hi Miss Eunice, it's Katy Perry," she began with a cheeky grin. "I know she's about to take this exam for English and we just wanna say that we might be a little bit tired because we were on the stage last night... So if you could just be a little kind, this is an exception. Please Miss Eunice, have some kindness for us!"

Tiana was over the moon when she got back on stage, reliving the moment with an audience of millions on the Today show the very next day. "I was in shock, I didn't know what to do!" she exclaimed. "And then Katy just started talking to me like we were old friends... She was like, 'You get to skip your exam because Katy Perry said so!' It was so surreal!"

But that wasn't all - the superstar also broke out into an impromptu rendition of Thinking Of You with a group of lucky fans on stage, including one very dashing young lad dressed as a shark (a nod to her infamous Left Shark moment at the 2015 Super Bowl halftime show). The crowd went wild, and we can see why: Katy's got moves for days!

At the same show, Katy also shared a touching moment with her fans when she invited a group of young admirers on stage to sing Thinking Of You with her

And if you thought that was all the excitement for one night, think again! Katy also managed to squeeze in some quality time with a tiger at Sydney Zoo, where she posted an adorable Instagram video of herself feeding the big cat (while balancing a piece of steak on her hand - talk about multitasking!).

"Oh my gosh, I've never had a tiger lick my hand!" she squealed. "Great way to beat jet lag!" The 40-year-old pop star must have been feeling pretty energized after that, considering she'd just arrived from a grueling 14-hour flight.

With sold-out shows across the country and fans clamoring for more, it's clear Katy Perry is back in her element - and we couldn't be happier! With three nights still to go at Qudos Bank Arena (June 4, 9, and 10), Sydneyites are in for a real treat. And don't worry, Adelaideans - you weren't forgotten either! After fans voiced their disappointment about missing out on the tour, Katy added four extra shows to the City of Churches.

The Aussie leg of the global Lifetimes tour went off without a hitch on Wednesday
