In a shocking revelation, actress and author Katherine Schwarzenegger has spilled the tea on how she prepared for her new role as a stepmom before marrying Hollywood hunk Chris Pratt. The 35-year-old beauty appeared on the popular podcast Parenting & You with Dr. Shefali, where she dished out all the juicy details about stepping into her new shoes.
As fans know, Pratt was already a dad when he got engaged to Schwarzenegger - he shares his 12-year-old son Jack with ex Anna Faris. But before saying "I do" in 2019, Katherine took a bold step by seeking help from a professional to coach her on how to become an amazing stepmom.
"When we got engaged, I knew that becoming a stepmom was a big responsibility," Schwarzenegger revealed on the podcast. "So, I sought out a step-parenting therapist to help me prepare for this new role. And let me tell you, it's been incredibly helpful!"
The eldest child of journalist Maria Shriver and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger also opened up about co-parenting with her husband's ex, Anna Faris. "It takes a lot of work, but when everybody is willing to put in the effort, it works," she said.
