Kate Middleton's Dior Elegance: A Tribute to French Design at Macron Visit
ROYAL ROMANCE: Kate Middleton Steals the Show with Glamorous Outfit as She Welcomes Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte for Three-Day State Visit
The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, 43, has been making waves in the royal circle with her stunning outfit choices lately! And today was no exception. As she welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte to the UK for their three-day state visit, Kate dazzled in a timeless Dior ensemble that left everyone swooning!
The royal mom-of-three joined her hubby Prince William, also 43, at RAF Northolt in west London, taking on the role on behalf of King Charles. And let's just say, she brought her A-game! Wearing Christian Dior's 30 Montaigne Rose Des Vents Bar Jacket, a piece from the 2024 Collection reimagined by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Kate added a chic hat by Jess Collett and some serious sparkle with Princess Diana's earrings and a pearl necklace from the late Queen's collection. Talk about making an entrance!
Meanwhile, Prince William was looking dashing in his formal suit, but it was Kate who stole the show with her effortless glamour. The couple put on a very affectionate display as they arrived at Windsor Castle, with William helping his wife down the steps. Aw! And later, during the ceremonial welcome at Datchet Road, Kate and Will chatted freely, with Kate placing her hand on William's back. Swoon!
But that wasn't all folks! The royal party then took a carriage procession through Windsor and along part of the Long Walk, just like former French president Nicolas Sarkozy did on his visit in 2008. And let's not forget the gun salutes and Royal Salute at the Quadrangle of Windsor Castle - it was a full-on royal extravaganza!
As for President Macron and his wife Brigitte, they'll be joining King Charles and Queen Camilla for a private lunch in the State Dining Room, followed by a special exhibition of items relating to France from the Royal Collection in the Green Drawing Room. And later that evening, there will be a glittering State Banquet in St George's Hall, where King Charles will pay tribute to 1,000 years of "shared history" between Britain and France.
But what really got our attention was Kate's heartfelt words about her cancer journey during a recent visit to Colchester Hospital. Speaking candidly about the challenges she faced after finishing treatment, Kate said: "There is a whole phase when you finish your treatment, everybody expects you to be better - go! But that's not the case at all." She also opened up about putting on a "brave face" in public while struggling behind the scenes. Wow, we're so impressed by her honesty and strength!
And let's not forget about President Macron's admiration for Queen Elizabeth II, whom he met most recently in Monaco just a few weeks ago at an environmental event. He'll be visiting Imperial College London to view an AI and Emerging Technology Innovators Exhibition and meet academics and researchers. And on Thursday, the final day of the State Visit, President Macron will join the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street for a UK-France Summit.
Now, we know what you're thinking - what about Kate's plans for the rest of the year? Well, according to sources, she's planning to continue with a slow and measured return to public life. And honestly, it's no wonder why! After all she's been through, we can't blame her one bit for taking things at her own pace.
And finally, let's give a special shout-out to Queen Victoria's Charabanc carriage from the Royal Mews, which was gifted to her by King Louis-Philippe of France in 1844. Talk about a piece of history!
