Kate in Red: Princess Wears Diana's Iconic Brooch at Historic Trump Welcome

ROYAL RUMBLE: Kate Middleton Stuns in Maroon Emilia Wickstead Dress as She Welcomes Donald and Melania Trump to Windsor Castle

In a dramatic display of style and poise, Princess Kate Middleton, 43, stole the spotlight yesterday as she welcomed Donald and Melania Trump to Windsor Castle for their highly anticipated state visit. The Princess of Wales was resplendent in a stunning maroon Emilia Wickstead coat dress, which perfectly complemented her new bronde hairdo, sending fashion enthusiasts into a frenzy.

As the Trumps arrived by helicopter, Kate and Prince William, 43, greeted them with warm smiles in the Walled Garden on the Windsor estate. The President couldn't help but lavish praise on the Princess, telling her, "You're so beautiful." We can't blame him - Kate looked absolutely ravishing in her elegant ensemble, which included a £2,330 hat by Jane Taylor and a burgundy Chanel bag that has become one of her signature accessories.

But what really caught our attention was the brooch she wore. Ah, yes! It's none other than Princess Diana's iconic feather brooch, studded with 18 Round Cut diamonds and small emeralds surrounding the Prince of Wales feathers symbol. Talk about a touch of royal history!

Meanwhile, Melania Trump looked effortlessly chic in a dark gray Christian Dior Haute Couture skirt suit that flared out at the waist and fell just below her knees. Her blonde tresses were styled in a sleek bun, which was largely hidden by a wide-brimmed wool hat in a brighter purple hue. We must say, she's looking absolutely fabulous!

But let's not forget about Camilla, who wore a vibrant sapphire blue dress with matching coat by Fiona Clare and hat by Philip Treacy. She accessorized with a stunning sapphire and diamond brooch - the perfect finishing touch to her outfit. It's clear that these royal ladies know how to bring their A-game when it comes to fashion!

Earlier this week, a Trump source said, 'The President and First Lady are thrilled that the Princess of Wales will play such a prominent role in their visit'. The Princess is seen chatting with Mr Trump shortly after he arrived in Windsor

As for Kate, we can't help but notice that she's favoring Chanel purses at the moment. We spotted her carrying a deep wine-colored Classic Flap Bag in quilted leather, which is no doubt one of her favorite designs. And let's not forget about those dainty ruby earrings - absolutely stunning! She finished off her look with dark brown suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi, another brand that has become synonymous with royal style.

The Trumps' spokesperson revealed earlier this week that they were "thrilled" to have Kate as part of the state visit. And it's no surprise why - after all, she's one of the most beloved members of the Royal Family! But what was a bit of a surprise was the news that Kate is currently in remission from an undisclosed form of cancer. We're sending all our best wishes to her and Prince William as they continue their busy schedule.

The state visit comes just days after the Princess and Prince attended the Duchess of Kent's funeral, where they paid their respects alongside King Charles and other senior members of the Royal Family. The Duchess, who died aged 92, was remembered for her tireless work in helping others and supporting various causes.

Kate paid tribute to her mother-in-law, Princess Diana by wearing her feather pendant, which contains 18 Round Cut diamonds with small emeralds that surround the Prince of Wales feathers symbol

As we reported earlier on thescholarlynote.com, Kate and Prince William led the way as they paid their respects to the Duchess, with a heartfelt tribute that read: "Our thoughts today are with The Duke of Kent and his family, particularly George, Helen and Nicholas. The Duchess worked tirelessly to help others and supported many causes, including through her love of music. She will be a much missed member of the family."
