Justin Timberlake to Reunite *NSYNC After Tour Woes

Justin Timberlake is turning his attention to an *NSYNC reunion in a desperate bid to ¿reinvigorate¿ his career, an insider has told the Daily Mail

Justin Timberlake's Career on Life Support: Will *NSYNC Reunion Be His Saving Grace?

It's been a rollercoaster year for Justin Timberlake, and not just because of his viral #JTfail tour. The singer, 44, has faced a barrage of criticism over his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which has been plagued with last-minute cancellations, lackluster performances, and a slew of disappointed fans.

Sources close to the situation claim that Timberlake's woes have finally made him realize what needs to be done to revive his flagging career: reunite with his *NSYNC boys! That's right, folks; the pop superstar is reportedly throwing in the towel on his solo endeavors and preparing for a comeback with his former groupmates JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass.

Timberlake, 44, is in need of a saving grace having gone viral for all the wrong reasons since hitting the road in April 2024 for his 121-date world tour (pictured in 2000 with *NSYNC)

But don't just take our word for it. Insiders reveal that Timberlake has been secretly watching Destiny's Child and Backstreet Boys reunions, seeking inspiration for his own *NSYNC reunion. "He's been monitoring the shows because there is a big decision to be made on whether *NSYNC should tour or have a residency," a source spilled.

The news comes as no surprise, given Timberlake's dismal #JTfail tour. Fans have been vocal about their discontent, with some calling him an "absolute disappointment" and accusing him of being "rude" and "disrespectful." The criticism has been so severe that multiple fans demanded refunds after his performances in Romania, Dublin, Lithuania, Transylvania, and Norway.

But it's not just the fans who have lost faith in Timberlake's ability to deliver. His own team is said to be at a loss for how to salvage the tour, which was already on shaky ground after his infamous DWAI arrest in the Hamptons last year.

¿Justin understands why fans were disappointed... but it also made him realize what needs to be next, and that¿s a return to *NSYNC,¿ the insider said

In June 2023, Timberlake was pulled over by Sag Harbor Police and charged with operating his vehicle while intoxicated. The incident was a wake-up call for the singer, who reportedly told the officer, "This is going to ruin the tour." And boy, was he right!

The Forget Tomorrow World Tour has been marred by cancellations, low ticket sales, and embarrassing performances. Timberlake's October 2023 concert in Columbus, Ohio, was canceled due to laryngitis and bronchitis, only for him to cancel the final show at the same venue just a few months later.

But despite the setbacks, sources close to the situation claim that Timberlake is not ready to give up. "He has a lot more in the tank and knows that will get him back on track and reinvigorate his career," an insider revealed.

Timberlake feared his tour would flop after his DWAI arrest in the Hamptons on June 18 last year. He told the officer at the time: ¿This is going to ruin the tour¿

And so, the question remains: Will *NSYNC be Justin's saving grace? According to insiders, the answer is yes! "The guys have seen the mini Destiny's Child reunion, and Lance has seen the Backstreet Boys concert at the Sphere," a source spilled. "Justin has also been messaging one another, and the next year could see more *NSYNC music and performances."

For those who may be too young to remember, *NSYNC was formed in 1995 and went on to release four albums before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2002. The group was known for hits like "I Want You Back" and "Bye Bye Bye," but it seems that JT is ready to revive their iconic sound.

When asked about a possible reunion, Joey Fatone told PEOPLE in May, "The big question is, is *NSYNC ever getting back together? The answer is, we haven't had that conversation yet." However, it looks like the conversation has finally begun, and this time, with Timberlake at the helm.
