Justin Bieber's Secret Dundee Night: Inside the Unlikely Music Video Shoot!

Fans spotted the pop mega-star out in Dundee as he recorded a music video in a nightclub

JUSTIN BIEBER TAKES OVER DUNDEE BAR: THE WILD NIGHT THAT LEFT STAFF SPEECHLESS

In a shocking turn of events, pop sensation Justin Bieber descended upon a Dundee bar like a rockstar, taking over the premises and leaving staff stunned in his wake. The manager of the Bird and Bear pub, Rai Wright, 24, revealed to thescholarlynote.com that Bieber's unannounced visit was nothing short of surreal.

Bieber, 31, arrived at the Abandon Ship nightclub – which was conveniently closed due to a shortage of staff – and simply walked in like any other regular. "He literally just walked in like a guy off the street," Rai said with a chuckle. "It was around 7 pm, and we were all standing at the bar when he asked if we could get some DJing going on and set up some decks."

Rai, who has run the Bird and Bear for years, was taken aback by Bieber's audacity but couldn't resist his charms. "If you asked me if I recognized him, I'd say yes and no," she said with a smile. "It was the hat...it was just an odd concept as I wasn't expecting to see him here in Dundee." The bar's staff was equally bewildered, but they soon found themselves swept up in Bieber's whirlwind visit.

Bieber's plan was to create some "club vibes" and get the party started. However, Rai had to break the news to him that they didn't have decks specifically for DJing. But undeterred, he asked if he could head next door to Abandon Ship – which, as mentioned earlier, was closed due to staff shortages.

Rai couldn't resist Bieber's charm and agreed to open up the nightclub for him. "I said we could open it up if they wanted to play some music and have some fun with that," she explained. And so, the party began in earnest.

Bieber brought his own speaker and set up a comfortable spot for himself in the corner of the club. He was joined by his entourage, who seemed just as relaxed as their boss. "They were lovely, really nice guys," Rai said. "We got on well with them; they took care of us as much as we took care of them."

As the night wore on, Bieber and his team got stuck into the drinks, ordering shots of whisky, pints of Guinness, and – in a nod to their rebellious spirit – picklebacks (a shot of whisky followed by a shot of pickle juice). However, it seems that even Bieber couldn't stomach the infamous pickleback for long. "He had one, then moved on quickly to tequila," Rai revealed with a grin.

The bar's social media accounts are now buzzing with news of Bieber's visit. In fact, his Instagram account has racked up over 116,000 likes since he posted the video from Abandon Ship – which has been captioned "Bad Honey video for your headtops."

Bieber's visit was not limited to the club; earlier in the day, he had popped into Cromars restaurant in St Andrews for some fish and chips and a beer. Staff at both venues have spoken out about the star's warm demeanor and generosity.

As the night drew to a close, Bieber made his way over to one of the bar's sister venues, Nola – where the party continued into the early hours. Rai couldn't help but feel flattered that Bieber had chosen her establishment for his impromptu bash. "It was very odd for a Saturday night," she said with a chuckle. "But I wasn't ready for it."

Bieber's video has left fans around the world in awe, and Rai's account of the star's visit will only add to his enigmatic allure. As one fan aptly put it on social media: "Justin Bieber takes over Dundee bar and steals hearts"
