Julia Roberts' Secret Water Taxi Ride: A Rare Glimpse into Her Private Life

In a rare and intimate moment, Julia Roberts has given her millions of fans a glimpse into her private life with husband Danny Moder. The actress, 57, shared a sultry photo of herself snuggled up to her cinematographer beau, 56, on their water taxi ride back to their hotel in Venice after the film festival.

The Oscar-winning actress, who was dressed in the same stunning black gown she wore on the red carpet for her latest project, After the Hunt, looked completely at ease as she lounged in the back of the cab with her shoes kicked off and her face buried into Moder's chest. Meanwhile, Moder kept a low profile, donning a sleek black suit.

The actress was solo on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival, where she was promoting her latest film, After The Hunt

The romantic photo, captioned simply "Venice" by Roberts on social media late Friday night, sent fans into a frenzy. Many responded with heart emojis, while others gushed about the couple's undeniable chemistry. One fan wrote: "That’s pure ❤️❤️," while another exclaimed: "Amore! ❤️"

But what makes this photo even more special is that it's a rare moment of the couple sharing their love publicly. Roberts and Moder, who tied the knot on July 4, 2022, after a whirlwind romance, have kept their relationship relatively under wraps over the years.

The couple first met in 2000 on the set of The Mexican, but at the time, Roberts was in a relationship with Law & Order star Benjamin Bratt. Moder, too, was married to his first wife, makeup artist Vera Steimberg, who refused to sign the divorce papers initially. However, after Roberts made headlines by wearing a "Low Vera" T-shirt to encourage her to move on, the divorce was finally finalized in June 2002.

The couple have been married since July 4, 2002, but their courtship got off to a rocky start. Roberts was dating someone else and Moder was married to someone else when they met on the set of The Mexican

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Roberts revealed that Moder had sorted out his personal issues before they got together, and she had also worked on herself separately. She said: "He sorted his whole thing out, separate and apart from me. And I sorted my life out, separate and apart from him. I think that's the only reason we were able to ultimately fall in love with each other and be together."

The couple welcomed their twins, Hazel and Phinneaus, 20, in 2004, followed by son Henry, 18, in 2007. Today, all three of their children are in college, which Roberts has revealed is a major focus for her. In a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, she joked about wearing the colors and supporting their schools, saying: "I wear the colors, I do the whole thing."

Roberts' latest project, After the Hunt, sees her playing a college professor caught in the middle of a complex situation involving a student who reports being sexually assaulted. The movie, which opens in wide release on October 17, is expected to be a strong contender for Oscar nominations.

The couple are parents to Hazel and Phinneaus, now 20, and Henry, now 18

As for Roberts and Moder's water taxi ride, it seems like they're still going strong after all these years. The couple may have kept their relationship under wraps initially, but with photos like this one, they're giving fans a glimpse into their love story that's truly a fairy tale come true.
