In a recent interview with Josh Horowitz, veteran actor Josh Brolin, 57, has come out guns blazing against his 2010 DC Comics blockbuster, "Jonah Hex". The film, which boasted an impressive cast including Michael Fassbender, Megan Fox, and John Malkovich, was widely panned by critics and flopped at the box office. "You have this silver platter of actors and the movie doesn't necessarily turn out as good," he explained, leaving little room for doubt about his feelings on the project. "I just think we made a big mistake with the director – not to blame it all at him, because that was my choice, that was my bad choice," Brolin continued. "And then the studio took it over and every time that's happened, in my experience, it has only gotten worse... That's what happens when you start cutting to this idea of pandering for an audience, and how testing can bite you in the a**."

"It's like, you don't know what the audience is going to want," he explained. "Jonah Hex was them taking the movie back and saying, 'How can we make this the most accessible movie?' And they ended up making the least accessible movie." Ouch! It seems that Brolin has a few choice words for those involved in the project.

But it's not all bad news – since his dust-up with "Jonah Hex", Brolin has gone on to star in some major hits, including "Sicario", "Deadpool 2", and the critically-acclaimed "Dune" films. And now, he's back in the spotlight with his latest project, "Weapons".

Starring alongside Julia Garner, "Weapons" follows a group of characters in a small town where 17 children from the same classroom vanish in one night.
