EXCLUSIVE: Jonathan Bailey Spills Tea on Wicked: For Good - Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and a Very Embarrassing Rehearsal Mishap!

In a juicy new interview with British GQ's Heroes Issue, Jonathan Bailey dished out all the dirt on the highly anticipated sequel to the Broadway hit Wicked. The 37-year-old actor, who stars as Fiyero Tigelaar in the upcoming film, gave fans an exclusive look at what they can expect from the movie and even revealed a hilarious rehearsal mishap with co-star Ariana Grande.

Bailey recalled an early rehearsal for Wicked, where he had only four hours to learn a crucial dance move. "I did it with Ari [Grande], headbutted her, and was like, 'Gotta go!' Wicked: For Good is set to hit cinemas on November 21, and fans are eager to see what's in store for the beloved musical movie. The sequel sees the return of Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, and Ariana Grande as Glinda, the Good Witch of the North - but this time, their friendship is put to the test after Elphaba was banished from Oz.

Bailey revealed that the story takes a darker turn in the sequel, tackling some serious issues. "It's darker, and I've got a sense it's going to go there politically as well," he said. "Fiyero's arc really kicks off and he literally is transformed by the end." Yikes! It sounds like Fiyero's transformation will be nothing short of dramatic.

But that's not all - Bailey also dished out some juicy details about the movie's plot. "There really is lots of new stuff," he teased. "When [Fiyero] leaves with Elphaba and they go to her lair where she's staying – on stage you just accept that she's living in a pit of dry ice, but in the film it's really beautifully realised and thought out by the departments and Cynthia and me." It seems like the filmmakers are pulling out all the stops for this epic sequel.

The first trailer for Wicked's hotly-anticipated sequel was released earlier this week, sending fans into a frenzy. The clip provides a thrilling glimpse into the movie's conclusion of the Broadway hit, teasing the fate of the protagonists and introducing new characters.

Ooh, does this mean our favorite witches are about to get hitched?

However, things take a dramatic turn when Glinda starts working under the instruction of Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh) to convince the citizens of Oz that they have nothing to fear from The Wizard (Jeff Goldblum). But as she digs deeper into the truth behind Oz's ruler, she finds herself torn between her loyalty and her friendship with Elphaba.

He also detailed how the story has evolved, will be 'darker' and 'go there politically' as his character also 'transforms'

The trailer also teases a new character: a girl from Kansas who crashes into the lives of our beloved witches. "Just as tensions in Oz reach an all-time high," the clip reveals, "a girl from Kansas comes crashing into all their lives." Who could this mysterious newcomer be? Stay tuned to find out!
