Jon Gosselin Blasts Kate: Claims Cheating Led to Divorce, Backed by Son!

Jon Gosselin, 48, made shock cheating claims against his ex-wife Kate Gosselin Wednesday

SHOCKING CHEATING CLAIMS ROCK THE GOSSELIN FAMILY!

The drama never ends for the once beloved reality TV family, the Gosselins! In a stunning turn of events, Jon Gosselin, 48, has come forward with shocking claims that his ex-wife Kate Gosselin, 50, had an affair with their one-time bodyguard Steve Neild, 50, back in 2009. And to make matters even more scandalous, their son Collin, 21, is backing up Jon's account on social media!

The bombshell allegations were made by Jon on Instagram, where he posted a photo of Kate and Neild with a link to a Page Six story about them currently dating. In his caption, Jon hinted that the relationship between Kate and Neild went from professional to romantic, effectively ending their marriage at the height of their reality TV fame. He wrote: "Guess who really ruined the marriage? Read for yourself."

Jon's claims have sparked outrage among fans, who are still reeling from the news. The Scholarly Note has reached out to reps for Kate for comment on the story, but so far, there's been no response.

But Collin isn't holding back! In a post on Instagram Stories, he shared his own account of what happened during their family vacations when he was just a kid. "What really upsets me is that my mom had an affair with our bodyguard way back in 2009," he revealed. "And for years, she would share hotel rooms with him while we went on family vacations, while I was stuck in a connected room!"

Collin continued: "Now everyone thinks her being with him is some cute novel romance. But what they don't know is that my dad received death threats and got shunned by the public for years for 'having an affair' and 'leaving his kids.' Meanwhile, Mom gets to play the victim card and blame Dad for everything!"

The young adult later clarified that he wasn't trying to stir up drama, but rather set the record straight about the family dynamic. "I'm not big on drama, and I'm very busy in college, at work, and running my business," Collin explained. "However, I feel very strongly on the matter of cheating and then blaming someone else for your own actions."

Collin's post sparked a wave of support from fans who are now questioning everything they thought they knew about the Gosselin family. One commenter wrote: "I always suspected something was off with Kate. She seemed so cold and calculated." Another fan chimed in: "Jon, you're finally speaking up! We believe you!"

The drama between Jon and Kate has been ongoing for years. In 2025, Jon spoke out about their divorce in an interview with E News!, revealing that he hadn't spoken to his ex-wife in over seven years. "We don't communicate," he said. "I think the last time I heard her voice in person was, like, 2018."

But Kate has been keeping busy on social media, sharing sentimental posts about parenting and trying to downplay the drama surrounding their family. Last month, she shared a TikTok post saying: "I don't know if you have kids or don't have kids, but I just made decisions based on how I would want to be treated, honestly." Um, really, Kate? That's all?

The Gosselin family was once the star of TLC's hit reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8, which chronicled their lives as a family with eight children. But after their divorce in 2009, the show underwent a major transformation, becoming Kate + 8. Six more seasons aired before it ended in 2017.

Now, it seems like the drama is far from over for this once beloved reality TV family!
