JoJo Siwa's Parents Embrace Her Relationship with Chris Hughes
JoJo Siwa's Love Life Gets a Seal of Approval from Abby Lee Miller!
The drama never ends for 22-year-old JoJo Siwa, and this time it's all about her love life! The pop sensation has been making headlines with her whirlwind romance with former Love Island star Chris Hughes, who is a whopping 10 years her senior. And according to none other than Abby Lee Miller, JoJo's parents are absolutely thrilled that she's brought home a new beau.
The drama began when JoJo and Hughes met on Celebrity Big Brother UK earlier this year. At the time, JoJo was in a relationship with non-binary actor Kath Ebbs, 27, but things didn't quite work out for the pair after they left the reality TV compound together. However, it seems that JoJo's heart skipped a beat when she laid eyes on Hughes, and the two of them quickly became inseparable.
But here's the juicy part: JoJo was actually in a relationship with Ebbs when she started getting close to Hughes. Ouch! The drama queen of Dance Moms fame has been known for her outspoken opinions, and this time she's weighing in on JoJo's love life. "She's living her best life," Abby Lee Miller told thescholarlynote.com. "I think they are adorable together. I was with them while they were together in Orlando, and let me tell you, the way they look at each other is just... wow!"
But what about JoJo's parents? According to Abby, they're absolutely delighted that their daughter has brought home a new beau. "Her mom Jessalynn and her dad Tom love that she brought a guy home," Miller revealed. We can only imagine how thrilled they must be!
Of course, not everyone is a fan of JoJo's new relationship. The pop star has been getting some heat from fans who think she was unfaithful to Ebbs while dating Hughes. But according to JoJo herself, that just isn't true. In an interview with YOU magazine last week, JoJo opened up about her sexuality and her new relationship.
"I identify as queer," she said, explaining how she used to feel pressure to label herself as a lesbian. "When I came out at 17, I said: 'I'm pansexual, because I don't care [about gender],' but then I kind of boxed myself in and I said: 'I'm a lesbian.' And I think I did that because of pressure."
But now that JoJo is embracing her true self, she's not worried about what others think. "In a weird way, I think it came a little bit from inside the [LGBTQ] community at times," she confessed. "From people I know, from partners I've had... You just get put in this world where you feel like, because you now have said, 'Oh, I'm a lesbian,' you have to be a lesbian. And the truth is, sexuality is fluid."
So there you have it – JoJo Siwa's love life is as drama-filled as ever, but at least she's being true to herself. And according to Abby Lee Miller, that's all that matters. "As long as she doesn't care about the haters, the better," Miller said with a wink.
We can't wait to see what's next for JoJo and her beau!
