Jessie J's Inspirational Return: Music and Magic After Cancer Battle

Jessie J 's highly anticipated comeback has been confirmed on Friday as she makes her return to the stage after her cancer diagnosis

Jessie J's Shocking Cancer Battle: Singer Set for Highly Anticipated Comeback Despite Health Scare

Get ready for a dose of drama and glamour as pop sensation Jessie J makes her long-awaited return to the stage after being forced to take a hiatus due to cancer treatment! The 37-year-old chart-topper, known for hits like "Price Tag" and "Domino", has been keeping a low profile since revealing her breast cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

But fear not, folks! Jessie J is back with a vengeance, and her comeback could not be more dramatic. After undergoing a mastectomy in June to tackle the disease, which was caught early thankfully, she's already made headlines for being rushed back into hospital with an infection and fluid on her lungs due to her weakened immune system.

The Price Tag singer, 37, had taken time away from the limelight to receive treatment after shocking fans earlier this year when she revealed she was battling breast cancer

But don't worry, Jessie is bouncing back stronger than ever! She's been confirmed to join the lineup for BBC Radio 2 In The Park in Chelmsford, Essex next weekend alongside other big names like Olly Murs, Ella Henderson, Belinda Carlisle, and Bryan Adams. And get this - tickets for the Saturday sets have already sold out!

But Jessie's not just getting back into the swing of things; she's also dropped brand new music, with her single "Believe in Magic" now available to stream on popular platforms. The song was written way back in 2022 while she was pregnant and had been kept under wraps until now.

Jessie opened up about the track, revealing: "I was breaking open and loving writing again. It was a deep hopeful loving feeling I wanted to put into a song. It resonates with me more now than perhaps it did then. That's the beauty of music - it can travel in time."

In June, Jessie underwent a mastectomy as part of her treatment for the disease, which was caught early (pictured following the surgery)

But despite her new music and upcoming performances, Jessie's still got some health hurdles to overcome. Just last week, she revealed that she'd have to undergo a second operation due to complications from her initial treatment, which will unfortunately clash with her scheduled tour dates in the UK, Europe, and US this autumn.

"I've had breast cancer surgery eight weeks ago," Jessie explained on social media. "Unfortunately, I have to have another surgery. Nothing too serious but it has to be done by the end of the year... So I am living in the moment, embracing in the moment, and flowing with the vibes."

In a heart-wrenching interview on Jamie Laing's podcast, Great Company, Jessie confessed that cancer had "robbed" her of precious family time, particularly with her young son Sky. She admitted: "Yesterday, I sobbed...I feel like I can't be a mum to my son and I miss him. I feel like cancer has robbed me of memories with my boy."

Jessie last performed at the Summertime Ball in June when she told the crowd at Wembley Stadium she was taking time out for treatment

Jessie also shared some tough moments from her cancer battle, revealing she had moments where she thought "this is going to go left and I'm going to die." But in typical Jessie J style, she added: "But I weirdly kind of enjoy bad things happening to me sometimes as it means I need to grow. I believe bad things happen to me so I can help other people who will then go through it."

The singer's fans have been holding their breath for her comeback, and judging by the sold-out tickets for BBC Radio 2 In The Park, they're more than ready to welcome Jessie J back into the spotlight with open arms!
