Jennifer Lopez's Radiant Smile: The Day After Affleck’s Red-Carpet Adoration
JENNIFER LOPEZ'S SIZZLING RETURN TO THE SPOTLIGHT!
The one and only Jennifer Lopez is back, and she's bigger and bolder than ever! The 56-year-old Hollywood icon was spotted prancing down the sidewalk in New York City, looking like a giddy schoolgirl in her barely-buttoned white shirt that gave a glimpse of her pale pink push-up bra. She paired it with a tight black skirt, lace-up corset belt, and stiletto heels that made her legs go on for miles.
But what's really got everyone talking is the 45-year-old love story between JLo and Ben Affleck. After their high-profile split in December, they put on a united front at the premiere of Kiss Of The Spider Woman in Manhattan, with Ben gushing about his ex-wife to the media.
"I'm as proud of this movie as any that I've ever been involved with," he told Extra's Mona Kosar Abdi. "I love this movie." But what really caught everyone's attention was when Ben praised JLo's incredible work ethic and talents, saying she was "born to play" her characters in the movie musical.
"It's really about being in the present, and when I was filming Kiss of the Spider Woman, all three women were living very largely in my life," JLo revealed in a new interview with USA Today. But what's even more juicy is that she used the pain from their split to fuel her performances!
"I don't know if I would be able to play the characters in the same way today that I played them during that time," she confessed, hinting that her heartbreak has finally faded away.
But JLo isn't just focusing on her past; she's got her sights set on a bright future. She shared that singing, dancing, and acting in Kiss Of The Spider Woman is what she loves to do, and we couldn't agree more!
"I had a love of musicals from the very beginning and now that's been reignited in me," she said. "You're going to see that incorporated a lot into my career in the coming era, whether it's in my Las Vegas residency or the movies that I choose."
And speaking of her Vegas residency, JLo revealed that Broadway was always her dream. She came to fame as a Fly Girl on TV's In Living Color and became a movie star with Selena, but she never gave up on her passion for musicals.
"I don't think people have ever seen me sing or dance in this style, even though that's how I started when I was young," she confessed. "I finally got to be the movie musical star that I grew up watching."
But what really has everyone talking is JLo's humble gratitude for her success. "I've had a very blessed career from the beginning," she said. "I feel like what's mine is mine... the truth is, I love my trajectory."
And it looks like she's not slowing down anytime soon! With Kiss Of The Spider Woman hitting theaters on October 10 and JLo's new interview with USA Today making waves, we can't wait to see what's next for this incredible talent.
So, who else is ready to fall in love all over again with Jennifer Lopez?
